Kamee Frieling | Tegen de Muur

Foto’s van eerder dit jaar
Niet wetende dat dit stuk zo dichtbij zou komen.

Photo’s from earlier this year.
Not knowing that this piece would come so close to me.

Kamee Frieling | Tegen de Muur

Foto’s van eerder dit jaar
Kamee blijft me verbazen.
Naast haar kracht en dans, vertelt ze iets heel echts op het podium.
Iets wat zeer de moeite waard is om te gaan zien.

Photo’s from earlier this year.
Kamee keeps surprising me.
Beside her impressive strength and dancing skills, she’s genuinely telling a story.
A story that touches.
If you have the chance, I really recommend to go see her performance.

a little flashback to Fluidical [2023]

Dancer : Flore Muuse

Looking forward to re-collaborate with Flore again next week with Chapter 58 | Once In A Blue Moon
There might be a few tickets left, so check it out at @floremuuse

And Sophia’s has some very exiting new work coming up with Transfloratie
Check it out at @sophiavanderputten

I had to be very selective what to post from Fluidical, due to the imbecile policy regarding nudity.
And I refuse to blur completely natural body parts. by @rick.vw

MAMM | RUIM

In the theaters now and I highly recommend this performance.
Go check them out!

@collectiefmamm

For this series, I wanted lots of negative space.
I wanted the big differences between the grid view and the separate image view.
The function of space is so relevant here.
I wanted the dancers to be roughly the same size in the frame.
I wanted the fire extinguisher power lines and emergency exit sign in the frames.
Because it contributes to how I experienced their story. by @rick.vw

And yes, the show is packed with the amazing acrobatics.
But for my series, I chose a few storytelling moments that really stuck with me.
