“Harmonic Interactions” (2021) Material: Aluminum Dimensions: H: 6.5/W: 4.5/ D: 4.5 Concept: Waveforms interacting in harmony in three dimensions. • This has been by far, the most exciting and stressful project. From conception to fabrication, completion, and installation... everything had its hurdles, learnings, and insights. But here we are, in front of a 3-dimensional chord on top of Chicago. • I am so thankful for those who believed in me @lincolninternationaltalent @becca_brianne @abbyfrank_art @turningart and everyone involved deep in the process @fablabmexico @_edu_lab_ @methodsandmaterials_ @fragmata @miguelabedlopez @mattbodett . You made a dream, into reality. ⚡️ • I know how lucky I am to have worked in the middle of a pandemic in such a large project. I’ve learned that if you believe in yourself, have a strong conviction, and work hard....Harmony will align. Dreams into matter. Harmonies into Matter. ♾ • #rickdrako #ricardomondragon #standingwaves #frequency #vibration #resonance #harmony #harmonicmotion #wavefunction #contemporarysculpture #sculpture #harmonograph #3Dharmonograph #harmoniesintomatter taken in Chicago, Illinois by @rickdrako

This is my new sculpture, an allusion to the great theme: “The Harmony of the Spheres.” Musical Universalis is a Pythagorean concept acknowledged by Plato, Kepler, Einstein, and many others. A universe ruled by mathematical order, cosmic music, and harmonic ratios apprehended by our minds. • Spherical Harmony (2022) A three-dimensional chord delimited by a sphere. We are pleased to announce our showcase at DIGITALISM:NEXT as part of British Art Fair at Saatchi Gallery. @saatchi_gallery @britishartfair As alumni of the Royal College of Art @royalcollegeofart, we expand our relationship to DIGITALISM through Parathetics: the organisation of heterogeneous modes of perception, representation and operation through adjacency. Image, data, algorithm, machine process and material object coexist without reduction to a common language. Clinical definition and conceptual rendering operate as coequal, parallel tracks—challenging, disrupting and informing one another, with neither acting as an absolute foundation. Our collective works will be on show 24–27 September 2026. Anaximander was one of the most revolutionary thinkers in history, a conceptual leap comparable to those of Newton or Einstein. Building on the new natural philosophy emerging in Miletus, he proposed that the Earth was a rock floating freely in space, unsupported by anything. He sought the origins and order of the cosmos within nature itself, pushing beyond mythology and even beyond the explanations of his predecessors. More than 2,500 years ago, he helped open a radically new way of understanding our place in the universe. • Inspiration was the book: “Anaximander” by Carlo Rovelli. @carlitorovelli • Screenprint on Canvas 2026 • #rickdrako taken in London, United Kingdom by @rickdrako

Hildegard (2026) Screenprint on linen. 140 x 100 cm • Hildegard Von Bingen (c. 1098 – 17 September 1179), also known as the Sibyl of the Rhine, was a German Benedictine abbess and polymath active as a writer, composer, philosopher, mystic, visionary, and as a medical writer and practitioner of the Catholic Church during the High Middle Ages. She is one of the best-known composers of sacred monophony, as well as the most recorded in modern history. A number of scholars have considered her to be the founder of scientific natural history in Germany. She saw harmony and music as the cosmic order. • #hildegardofbingen #hildegardvonbingen #rickdrako #royalcollegeofart taken in Royal College of Art by @rickdrako
