On October 2, 2026 Drew Stanley and I set the Self Supported FKT, @fastestknowntime, for a route called Stone Father. This route is listed as 100 miles and 21,000’ of elevation gain. We started at the upper lot at Stone Mountain, North Carolina at 10:08 am October 1, 2026 and finished October 2, 2026 at 7:32pm. The next 33 hours and 23 minutes still seem like a dream. This was my first attempt at a 100 miler. And let me tell ya what, I picked a doozie! There were times I wanted to quit. Your mind will convince you of about anything it wants to when you’re hurting at points like I was. But, deep down I knew quitting wasn’t an option. Drew was his usual super human self. Never giving up and always staying positive. There is zero chance I get this done without him. So. Once again. Thank you brother. I could go on and on.
