Recently discovered @echozoostudios where we’ve been tracking @plantoidworld ‘s album and have so much praise for Dave and his collection. Beautiful location, people and gear. Special mention to the circa 1977 MCI JH16 tape machine, 1976 Tweed Audio Console and the 1978 Trident TSM console. Will be back soon! ❤️ taken in Echo Zoo Studios by @rid.nat

No sabem si el bosc de Can Ribes va néixer de les veus de @tartarelena, o si elles van néixer fruit dels pollancres, però cada concert del duo a Rizomes és un ritual d’alineació. Dance at Oscar’s by @c.a.r.music is out today. Super proud of Chloe and Joni, the journey that it was producing it and the result that manifested. Many a fun wonky nights running sounds through a Lexicon PrimeTime, building the minimal icey world of this album. Out on @thenothingspeciarecordings. Mind is 🤯. Playing @houghtonfestival 2024 was such an incredible experience. I don’t think there’s any festival like it. Thank you to @c.a.r.music and @josh_caffe for all being such incredible talented characters for being so powerful and allowing me to join them on stage. Here’s to @blue.bendy releasing their debut album ‘So Medieval’ on @state51. They are a wonderful bunch of people and creatives and it is always so much fun to produce and capture their weird and wonderful world full of quirk and emotion. Things I recall from the tracking is foundation always being on tape, blasting the drums through a PA in the live room to capture extra ambience and the moment I realised I was recording the “Third best guitar band in London” - Arthur. Swipe for some wonderful reviews and a couple of recording moments I managed to recover. taken in Hermitage Works Studios by @rid.nat

@plantoidworld ‘s new single on @bbcradio1 w @jackxsaunders Love the N.E.R.D reference, music that is definitely in the subconscious back catalogue of the brain. I explicitly remember us tracking this song, everyone pushing energy to keep tense and in line with the song’s emotion. Chloe did this sort of strange “whoop” to get everyone going which made me immediately think: “Surely we’ll start the song with that” by @rid.nat

So happy to see this released into the world. @plantoidworld’s new single out on @bella_union records. An amazing experience making this record, I won’t share too much on the making of it as there might be more to come? 🤷‍♂️but it was a beautiful process of creative collaboration tracked live on an MCI JH-16 tape machine at @echozoostudios Thank you to the band and the label for making this such a joy to record and produce by @rid.nat
