first one session purple climb @ 9degrees!!!
Japan got me feelin some type of way. Implementing a lot of the tekkers I learnt over there and it’s just all clicking.

big thanks to @chew.grit.climbing who has taught me so much in such a short period of time. when I fall off a climb it’s pretty much instantly “okay what would chew tell me”.

It’s been a year since I started climbing and I’m so thankful @lindaphung_ introduced it to me. Over that year (mostly in the last month), I’ve sent four of these “yellow” climbs at @blochausmkv which I thought would’ve been freaking impossible to do when I started.
This means a ton to me. Being a bit sentimental, I’ve always felt eager af starting something new and exciting, only to quickly get bored and move on to the next thing. It would go like: be a keen bean and immerse myself in X (programming, gaming, learning something new), reach a barrier and stop it there, moving on to the next thing. I freaking hated that about myself.
It’s a bit cringe to say, but the mindset I’ve gotten through climbing over the last year has helped me focus up and just fucking send it when I need to. It’s still a bit difficult to get rid of the voice at the back of my mind that says take it easy when things are getting too hard. That’ll be there for a bit I reckon, but less now. In any case, proud of this and keen for mOAr SenDs 🏔 taken in BlocHaus Sydney by @ridgetinez
