The AFL Grand Final is this Saturday and the past few weeks I’ve been working my way through “Accept the Challenge”, an autobiography by Leigh Matthews.

A 4 time premiership player with Hawthorn and 4 time premiership coach with Collingwood in 1990 and then a 3-peat with Brisbane 25 years ago, Matthews is an undeniable great of the game.

Regardless of if you’re a sports nuffie like me or not, the advice in these pages is applicable to so much more than a game with a ball.
