with Christ in my vessel
I can smile at the storm

because of what Christ did for me, i’ve gotten through the past 12 years of school. It is by His mercy that I made it and have learned so much along the way. There have been many ups and downs and what i’ve continued to observe is that God remains the same. No matter the circumstance- whether it be losing a game, losing a friend, almost losing my mom, watching my dad coach football and all that entails, praying for others, needing prayer, starting a bible study, finding community, losing community, putting faith over feelings, having hard conversations, having great conversations, making decisions, family health problems, learning how to be a prayer warrior, being loyal when it hurts, being an example for Christ, internal battles, navigating where to go to college, praying for my future, and so so so much more. Through all of this- Jesus has never left my side. I had to go through storms so that God could teach me how to handle the next. He has recently been teaching me to put my faith over feelings. Even if I don’t feel God- He is still there and what i’ve discovered is that He is closer than ever and that I can’t give in to the temptation of putting my feelings above my faith because if I were to do so I wouldn’t be where I am today. Thank you Jesus for being my constant companion even when I’m not the easiest.
and thank you to those of yall who showed me what loyalty and friendship looks like- may God bless yall abundantly!!
and most importantly thank you Abba❤️
