This group is working on timing, coordination and body control.

Sometimes we slow it down so athletes can feel the movement, understand the adjustments and build control through each position. Those deliberate reps help build the strength and coordination they’ll draw on when the pace picks up in season.

The correction is part of the training.

Our athletes, ages 11–13, are learning how to coordinate their movements, find their rhythm and build better running mechanics.

That takes instruction, practice and opportunities to try again. We pause, explain, make an adjustment and give them another rep.

We want athletes to understand how they’re moving and build the confidence to keep learning—even when a new drill feels unfamiliar.

This week at RIIZE, we focused on rhythm, coordination, and running mechanics. New drills, new challenges, and plenty of coaching along the way.

Sometimes progress means slowing down, understanding the movement, and learning how to do it right before adding speed.

We're not just running athletes through drills. We're teaching them how to move, why it matters, and how to build confidence through repetition.
