25 years of LMP.

This week marked the 25th year of a ministry that has shaped students, served families, and shared the love of Christ. I’ve had the privilege of being part of it for 21 of those years, first as a student, then a volunteer, and now as a director.

Grateful for every student, leader, homeowner, volunteer, and supporter who made this milestone year so special. Here’s to 25 incredible years, and Lord willing, many more to come. by @rileyharris5

A lot of emotions packed into yesterday.

I was honored to be recognized as a pastor at First United Methodist Church in Springdale and presented with a communion set, a reminder of the privilege and responsibility of serving Christ and His Church.

I’m grateful for the people who have encouraged, challenged, and invested in me along the way. Most of all, I’m thankful for God’s faithfulness in every season. by @rileyharris5

This past week marked 20 years of Local Mission Project for me.

I first showed up as a middle schooler in 2006, not knowing this one week every summer would become one of the most influential parts of my life.

It has been more than a local service project. LMP has become a place where I’ve grown, been challenged, and experienced a community and purpose that sticks with you.

For the past several years I’ve had the privilege of leading it, and even now it still feels surreal.

LMP 2025 was something special. With 13 teams, incredible students and leaders, powerful worship, and even buying a star to mark the moment, it all served as a reminder of just how faithful God has been over the years.

Reaching this milestone is humbling. I’m deeply grateful for the people, the memories, and the ways God has worked through LMP over the years. I don’t take a single moment of it for granted. by @rileyharris5
