@thedandelionkind is a long-held dream of ours. We are still in our infancy as an organization but we have already been able to provide critical care like vaccines, flea/tick prevention, and things like leashes and food to so many. We run multiple street clinics and direct encampment visits a month in partnership with private and public advocacy groups. If you could just take a moment to like, follow, and even share this link, it would help so much.

At the very least you get some pictures of cute dogs and cats. by @ringoatringo

Grappling with the emotions of watching the atrocities in Gaza unfold and recognizing our own capacity for the same violence. I don’t have answers, but I think I know what is NOT the answer; cynicism, isolation, giving into that paralyzing feeling we are too small to make a difference. At this point doing nothing is complicity. by @ringoatringo

It’s enough that my taxes are used to fund genocide. But my art? I can at least try to control this tiny, tiny little corner I inhabit.

I never really got shit from any of those fuckers anyway. by @ringoatringo

Two more Thursday shows in the April residency @cherrystreettavern. @fairweatherbummer is a dream collaborator in bringing this electro-folk old-time drone whatever you wanna call it to life on stage. by @ringoatringo

Very excited about my month long residency @cherrystreettavern in Chattanooga. While I love the cowboy chord campfire tunes (and there’s plenty of them) It’s been my dream to perform live work more inline with my recorded banjo work; more improvised, experimental and utilizing non-traditional elements of drone/ambient tones. by @ringoatringo

A nice write up on my record Pax Texiana on Bandcamp today, alongside this well deserved feature on @geologyrecs. This record came out as I was leaving Texas for good, and I always thought of the collection as a set of love songs for the state that I called home for 10 incredible years. One year later Bandcamp revisits the record and I’m humbled by their words. Link upstairs to that write up. Thanks to the incomparable @jon_augo for the cover and years of friendship. Please love each other by @ringoatringo

I want to urge everyone who reads this to take a moment to contact their representatives or the damn White House directly (second slide) to support a pardon for Leonard Peltier. More than anyone he deserves to be free. If you don’t know his case, I’d suggest Robert Redford’s great documentary called Incident at Oglala. Or any of Ward Churchill’s books. Let’s get Leonard Free, thank you. by @ringoatringo
