Hi I’m Corrine and I’m a bookworm.

I’m a mom of 5, elementary special education teacher (currently an assistant), about to celebrate 25 years of marriage.

I am a mood reader and rarely read a book I don’t like. If I’m not liking it I set it down and pick up one of my other ten books that are bookmarked because I wasn’t quite in the mood to read just yet.

I am not a literary critic and if it keeps me reading it’s a winner in my book.

I have a book shelf and books in every room of my house and they are always in a constant state of change.

When not reading I enjoy walking, swimming and hanging out with my family.

I used to be really social and loved having people over now the only people I seem to invite over are fictional characters.

I love painting, photography, drawing…though I’m not very good. Or do it as much as I like.

I like to people watch and make up stories about them.

It’s the perfect season to read “the Witch” by @fmcfaddenauthor ! Oh my goodness I really liked this book a lot. 5 stars for me.

Duel timeline and duel POV the perfect pair for telling this story.

I enjoyed both time lines and the chapters were short and each leaving you on a little cliff hanger so you had to read the next chapter.

It didn’t feel like a typical Freida book in being a psychological thriller with twists on twists but more of the perfect paranormal historical fiction mystery. Don’t get me wrong there are a few plot twists just not super wickedly twisty. And there were a few moments when I was a little spooked. Loved it Freida!

Another “I can make that!”
And they turned out cute! No fail here!

Thank you @bookwormdanii for inspiring me to continue to create! So fun to have a craft buddy.

Y’all these are super fun and easy!

1.Get a frame. We scored them at @dollartree .

2.Create and print an image (the simpler the better.

3. Trace the image in black. With sharpie or paint pen.

4. Color in your image. Again we used paint pens.

5. Draw lines starting at image out. Free hand or use a ruler. As many lines as you’d like.

6. Color in the shapes. (Drop a ✍️ for the link to the paint pens I love)

7. Take a piece of tin foil (aluminum foil) and crinkle. Put your glass back in then place the foil in and return the back to the frame.

This weekend we went away on a little “booish book retreat”. A lot more laughter, games and chatter happened than reading. We did get in a little reading and some book store crawling!

This was the perfect little Air B&B in Broken Arrow!

Like my cat I’m not always in the mood to read but I’m always willing to go to a bookstore. Found @theforgottenrosebookstore this last week. Such a cute little bookshop!
