The last two years have beat my ass.
Hard fucking times, confusion, new shit poppin off left and right, endings, frustration, regret, and learning.
Always learning.
Some of the losses positioned me as a villain, and I won't front - that shit hurt so bad I just wanted to hide and cry. So I did plenty of that.
Laid pretty low and felt like shit and vented to a few folks and reflected and tried to get up and failed and laid back low again and promised shit I couldn't make happen because I felt like shit and laid back low and cried. Rinse and repeat.
And waited for some fog to clear.
Like a true Aries, when I want something, I want it yesterday, so this season has been something. Heavy. I ain't never been so tired, so tense. So drained.

I want(ed) healing fast, and I had to accept that shit don't work like that.

Still, there is joy despite tension and struggle. Grateful for people and experiences that remind me that tough times don't last. Joyful people do.
Thank you for the opportunities to share in your joy.I appreciate every invitation, every desire to collaborate, every laugh, tear, hug, reminder, deep sigh, every goodbye. (Except for my mama's. That one... whew). by @ripeness
