why do you GeT pOlitIcAl??

Owning a small business IS political.
Every decision we make reflects our values. Who we hire, how we treat people, what we tolerate, who feels welcome in our space… all of it is a reflection of who we are and what we’re about.

We are deeply embedded in our community, and with our influence we have a responsibility. We will never stop fighting for what we believe in and we will never stop leading with love.

In case anyone needs a reminder — hate has NO home here.

Big love to all of you.
Have a beautiful weekend 🖤 taken in Rise Authentic Baking Co. by @riseauthenticbaking

*Inserts ALL OF YOU into the frame*

Staff, customers, baked goods, squirrels, art… all of it makes up who we are.

A VERY special shoutout to the gal in the last frame… Lauren. She started as an intern in 2018(?), and has climbed the ladder to GM into basically running the dang place. Rise wouldn’t be what it is without her loyalty, creativity, expertise… and type A tendencies 😇. She also happens to be getting married today… (which is why she wasn’t in the video lol). Give her big love next time you see her around!! taken in Rise Authentic Baking Co. by @riseauthenticbaking

A moment for the PECAN PIE BAR!
It’s like a slice of pecan pie to go. And it’s the perfect fall treat.

We sell these unpackaged at our shop on Fulton, but they’re such a fan fave that we package them and sell them ALL around town! Find them at D&W, Bridge street market, and so many more places! And even at @squibbgrandrapids !

Check out our wholesale partner post to see where you can find them.

ALSO - Y’all gotta believe me I am a sugar lover and I 1000% cannot tell these are made without refined sugar. Such a win! taken in Rise Authentic Baking Co. by @riseauthenticbaking
