I absolutely cannot believe what we’ve done. 2.5 months of continuously working across 4 different time zones, a dream we had on the night of performing at The Royal Albert Hall in London, a crew of 220+ people, we had friends & family fly to New York from 5 different countries, we had our partners & promoters who do not understand Hindi fly in from LA just to be with us and to witness this iconic cultural moment- ALL because of ONE person who taught us do more, brought so many people together, who dreamt and pushed us to bring this dream to life- @zakirkhan_208

Like Zakir says- ‘Badi baate bol deni chahiye, kya pata upar wala sunn raha ho, aur bolde TATHASTU’ ❤️

I could’ve not been able to do any of this without my brother @xankurkaushikx - it took A LOT to get here- years and years of building, making mistakes, learning, networking and what not.

Mad amount of love & respect to @jacobluftglass & @bjorntoday (@unitedtalent) who’ve believed in our dreams and have always responded to our delulu ideas with ‘Let’s Figure It Out’

BIG thank you to brother @hasanminhaj for doing this with us & for just being so nice & to Bestuu @tanmaybhat for KILLLING so hard- tour up next?

To @tusharrkumar & @preranaak for giving us all the time and space to see this through.
@nambyaaaar you’re the next star manager in the making - just knowing that you’re in office and handling something is a stress buster 🫡

This video is from the last day of the 12 show historical run at NSCI Stadium, Mumbai- Zakir’s LAST show before he went on a break. The show that toured globally, which we’ve been seeing for the last 2.5 years, was being performed one last time.

‘Papa Yaar’ is Zakir’s 6th stand up special but this is the one I am most biased towards. This show gave us so much- hope, a legacy, memories & put us on the global map. This show took us to Madison Square Garden, Times Square, Scotiabank Arena, Climate Pledge Arena, Radio City Music Hall, NSCI and so many more venues that an artist / a producer dreams of performing in- we did them ALL in one tour. Papa Yaar allowed us to create history across the globe & also gave me so much perspective towards a father-son relationship.
A year ago Zakir told me something which stuck with me, and each time I watched Papa Yaar thereafter, that conversation just kept making more sense.

The show has had such a large team and crew, working through the last 2.5 years, with the NSCI run bringing us all together like it was a wedding celebration. The last show honestly felt like a bidaai of sorts.

But now the special is streaming on Netflix and we couldn’t have been more prouder. Please see the end credits- it’ll tell you what each of us have earned & from where our identities come 🙂

We absolutely love you @zakirkhan_208

Presenting our first ever variety comedy festival- #TeachersOpenComedyFestival @teacherswater
We’ve dreamt of building a comedy festival for a few years now but never came close to fruition, until we met the amazing & gutsy team at Teachers- @prithvi.handa & @tinyhappyfeet who doubled down, backed this idea & rolled it into a Teachers portfolio IP- giving the IP longevity & an identity, with the help of good folks at @evalive.in who brought us all together & are producing this.

BIG shout out to @playpause.studio & @baneetchhabra who have built the most successful YT comedy IPs in India and helped program & put life into this festival.

1 Day - 3 Stages - 1 Ticket
We’ve got Comedy, Panels & Live comedy IPs straight out of YouTube

Grateful to all the artists for backing the festival. We’ve got a bunch of more announcements due
