Woke up this morning to someone “trying to steal my story” and posting this video without my permission with their own made up story.

So I figured instead I would post the “reel deal” myself!

As my hubby @iambubbastewart and I both approach our 2 year gastric sleeve surgiversaries this month, we live life with zero regrets. We are healthier, happier, and living our best lives and we don’t mind telling you all about it!

We lost over a combined 250 lbs, chose a healthier lifestyle, got active, and now are expecting a healthy baby boy 👦🏽 any day now to make our party of 7! We don’t think this would even be fathomable if we hadn’t gotten our health together.

In fact 80% of my content is reserved for motivating and inspiring others to achieve their ultimate health goals.

The World Health Organization (WHO) just released its first-ever global guidelines on childhood obesity (and bariatric surgery is in them, as a last resort for teens only).

Here’s the breakdown:

👶 Ages 0–9: no weight-loss meds, no surgery, no devices — structured diet, activity, and behavioral programs with caregivers instead

👧 Ages 10–19: GLP-1s like Wegovy only after supervised lifestyle programs fail; surgery only for mature teens with severe obesity after ~6 months of unsuccessful treatment

Did you know: ~170 million kids aged 5–19 are living with obesity (quadrupled since 1990).

WHO says the evidence on GLP-1s in younger kids is thin and the guidance will evolve as trials read out. Guidelines aren’t law and don’t override existing approvals.

Surgery was my tool 7 years ago — a tool, not a shortcut. As a mom of 5, I’m reading 📖 this one closely.
