@ritualhowls Detroit-based trio blending post-punk, industrial, darkwave, and cinematic Western noir into something brooding, hypnotic, and unmistakably their own. Since 2012, they’ve built a devoted following with their shadowy sound and intensely atmospheric live shows.

GRIZZ CLL @grizzcll brings LA darkwave to the stage with a genre-bending collision of dark electronic, EBM, goth and post-punk. Moody, seductive and built for the dark dance floor, GRIZZ CLL is an exciting force in the new generation of dark music.

THE SECRET LIGHT @thesecretlightband opens the night with brooding post-punk, darkwave and gothic atmosphere, setting the perfect tone for an evening deep in the shadows. taken in The Coffin Club by @ritualhowls

Excited to announce my new release, "After Selection" out on @industrialdetroit . This EP marks my first solo work and is a hard dive into industrial and EBM. But don't take it from me, read what the insightful @msaint23 has to say:

“After Selection” is Samuels’ latest release - a five-track instrumental EP entrenched firmly in electronic body music (EBM) and industrial-techno. Built on driving rhythms, pulsing synth lines, and a sharp sense of momentum, the record is purposefully designed to energize dance floors and keep bodies in constant motion.

So our festival is facing another wrench in the system. Traitrs have had to drop off. Thankfully Panic Priest has graciously agreed to jump in. A lot of obstacles this year, but the show will still go on. @panic_priest we can’t wait to see you tomorrow! taken in Small's by @ritualhowls

BAND SPOTLIGHT: Ritual Howls
Ritual Howls is a Detroit-based band blending dark post-punk, industrial rock, and gothic country, often described as a cinematic, “twangy” soundtrack to nightmares. Their sound features brooding, deep vocals from Paul Bancell, heavy bass from Ben Saginaw, and textured synths/drum machines from Chris Samuels. @ritualhowls is our headliner at FIXATION IV on Saturday, May 9, only at Smalls.
