One of my favourite trips of my entire life. We dropped in to the Stikine river for a wee camping trip. We held it together for 3days of full throttle kayaking. Great vibes amongst crew @mrsammyg92 @heidiwalshxo @jenwet. Big shout out to Heidi for leading the team through the depths of the canyon. It’s a rare occasion for me to run 50/50 on the Ashlu Box Canyon. I normally walk right on by and put in below. It’s always temping and teasing me like a promiscuous woman. Today we had the right crew (the young senders), right vibes (stoked AF), right safety (@kiahschaepe) and a clear mind (Flow State).
After watching @inzanegardner throw a kick flip and absolutely grease it. I knew I had to give it a go!

Though it may seem like just a whisper in a long lost memory, we all possess that inner calling to be free in a state of harmony connected with the natural world.

Week One Recap | Jan 17–22, 2026 🚁

An opening week that showcased exactly what Bella Coola does best.

With 14,000 sq. kms of terrain and Unlimited Vertical throughout January, we took full advantage of what was on offer. Spring-like conditions, strong stability, and endless visibility delivered long runs, dramatic alpine views, and full days in the Coast Mountains.

High-elevation landings, glaciated terrain, and deep valleys meant protected snow when we needed it, and sun-softened aspects when the timing was right.

Momentum is building as we welcome guests to Eagle Lodge and roll into week two.

Limited February seats remain. Next availability opens late March and into April, when the alpine truly shines.

The universe provided a lot of good time in 2025. That being said I believe that my friends, family and colleagues are all the universe evolved into human form. Thanks team! It’s easy to get distracted from the natural flow of the universe with so much BS happening in the world right now. The cool morning air has got me day dreaming about skiing. Thanks to @shabbashugz for getting the drone shot and providing inspiration along the way. I thought about going home a week earlier but the snow kept falling and weather windows kept appearing in the forecast. Taunting us to wait longer and practice patience. This was May 8th/2025 in Alaska. The wait was well worth it. When the clouds parted the last of us ski/ snowboard bums snowmobiled into the mountains in search of the steep and deep.
