With all the excitement from last week it completely slipped my mind to post about this.

So I was invited to do talk and showcase some of my images of Pakistan Truck Art @spiritofpakistanfestival festival 2026 @brigcafe It was a great honour to not only showcase the work of the amazing artists from Pakistan that intricately hand paint these trucks and buses but also تک deliver a talk about my work, practice and future plans. First time dping anything like this and I was out of my comfort zones, but as ma artists it's the best way to grow.

Currently working on the book which will he a complete set of images from my time documenting these amazing trucks.

HUM KIYAH CHATHEH, AZADI - WHAT DO WE WANT, FREEDOM.

Written in Aslam Font.

The slogan was originally used by female protestors in 1980s Pakistan against the authoritarian rule of General Zia-Ul-Haq. It was then adopted in the early 1990s in occupied Kashmir where it has since gone on to become the most famous chant and heard at every demonstration and rally against Indian occupation.

The focus is on so many places but I always see Kashmir being disregarded. The most militarised zone on earth and I call it the forgotten paradise.

AMERIKKKA (C) (2025)

As I continue with Typography and Design I'm sticking with Swiss Design and the making of this AMERIKKKA. Using SanSerif font and Swiss design principle of overlapping letters to create AMERIKKKA. The three K's referring to the KLU KLUX KLAN and it's history WIthin America and drawing parallels on what's happening today in America. by @rizalidar

Continueing my foray into Graphics & Typography and using it for something which needs focus on. The murder of Hind Rajab in January 2024. Combining Typography and Political message is high important and with the history of typography this is inextricably linked. Using the Swiss modular grid system and a clean fonts. Also putting the Palestinian flag through the use of shapes Red, Green, White (Background) & Black (Text) makes the flag.
