A Filipina who traveled to 203 countries, written a book, spoke on stages around the world and led a global organization.

What a lifetime of stories!

But if you ask me what travel has given me, my answer isn’t a number.

It gave me the courage to reinvent myself.

So what comes after traveling to every country in the world and all 82 provinces of the Philippines?

For me, the journey continues through writing, speaking, and turning travel into meaningful community work through the Philippine Global Explorers (PGE).

Travel has shaped my perspective on life, leadership, and purpose. Today, through my book, speaking engagements, and PGE’s community initiatives, I hope to share those lessons and inspire others.

The question now is what I can do with everything the world has taught me.

And that is where my next chapter begins. ✨

Episode 3 of “What Can You Bring to the World?” — exploring age, identity, and reinvention through travel.

What would you bring to the world at 40 that you couldn’t have brought at 25?

At 25, you may have ambition, dreams, and the desire to prove yourself.

At 40, you may have something different — the courage to choose yourself.

You’ve lived through enough chapters to know that success doesn’t always look the way you imagined it would. You’ve made mistakes, changed direction, outgrown people and places, and perhaps even had to begin again.

And that is not something to be ashamed of.

It is part of what makes reinvention possible.

And travel has a way of revealing this. When you step outside the life you’ve always known, you begin to question the expectations you once carried and discover that there is still so much room to become.

25 is not better than 40.
40 is not a replacement for 25.

They simply give you different things to bring into the world.

And sometimes, what you gain with age is not more years but more courage to live them.

STARTING OVER AGAIN? | Episode 02: REINVENTION

A lot of questions went inside my head when I had to start over with life but for me, the answer became clearer through travel.

After visiting 203 countries, all 193 UN member states, and all 82 provinces of the Philippines, I’ve learned that travel is not simply about how far you go.

It’s about who you become along the way.

Reinvention taught me that starting over doesn’t mean starting from nothing. You carry your experiences, your failures, your lessons, and every version of yourself that brought you here.

And eventually, you have to ask yourself…

How can I use what I’ve lived through to serve, inspire, and create something meaningful for others?

That question shaped my work in travel, leadership, education, and community, and became the foundation of my book, The World Is My Mirror.

For me, the world doesn’t just show you new places.
It shows you a new version of yourself.

As a Filipina who has traveled to 203 countries and written a book about my journeys, standing before one of China’s greatest wonders made me wonder: Why was the Great Wall of China built in the first place?

The Great Wall of China was built to defend borders and protect what lay within.

Standing here, I couldn’t help but think about the walls we still build today, between countries, cultures, communities, and people.

Different place.
Different time.
But the question remains…

Do walls keep us safe, or keep us from seeing one another?

Travel does the opposite. It takes us across boundaries and invites us to see what’s on the other side.

That’s the spirit of The World Is My Mirror 🌍

After traveling to 203 countries, I’ve learned that the world is far bigger than the perspective we grow up with. Travel has taught me to be curious before judgmental, to listen before assuming, and to understand that there is more than one way to live, think and see the world.

So, what do I bring to the world?

Perhaps the greatest value of travel isn’t how many places you’ve been but how differently you learn to see.
