Let’s help build a future for the children of Mindanao 🇵🇭

The Philippine Global Explorers (PGE) Lanao Library Project is bringing educational support to students in Butig, Lanao del Sur, Philippines, through donated books, backpacks, and essential school supplies.

As part of our commitment to responsible travel, community outreach, and giving back to the Philippines, this initiative aims to help improve access to educational resources and create more opportunities for young learners.

🎯 Our fundraising goal: ₱100,000
💚 Raised so far: ₱35,500

With our November 2026 outreach approaching, we’re continuing to work towards our goal of supporting a school library that will encourage learning, curiosity, and opportunity for the students and the wider community.

How you can support the Lanao Library Project:
📚 Help us provide educational resources.
💚 Contribute towards our fundraising goal.
🤝 Share this initiative to reach more supporters.

Every contribution brings us one step closer to making educational resources more accessible to students in Mindanao.

At Philippine Global Explorers, we believe travel is not only about discovering new places. It’s also about understanding our roots, serving our communities, and creating a positive impact beyond our journeys.

🌏 Exploring the world, nurturing our roots.

On September 20, Philippine Global Explorers celebrated Map the Planet Day, bringing together explorers in Philippines and Dubai for an afternoon filled with stories, laughter, meaningful conversations, and new connections 🇵🇭🇦🇪

Inspired by the courage and curiosity of explorers who ventured into the unknown, Map the Planet Day is a reminder of why we continue to explore, to discover new places, experience different cultures, meet people from around the world, and broaden our perspectives.

From our roots in the Philippines to communities around the world, Philippine Global Explorers continues to bring travelers together through a shared love for discovery, connection, and adventure.

Because the world may be vast, but travel reminds us how connected we all are.

What was your travel promise? 😊

🙏🏽 Help us build a library for nearly 200 Muslim children in a remote mountain community in the southern Philippines.

We’re raising ₱100,000 (approximately US$1,600) to transport donated books, provide backpacks, school supplies, and establish the school’s very first library.

Every child deserves the opportunity to discover the joy of reading.

Your donation will help fund:

📦 Transportation of donated books by sea and land
🎒 Backpacks for children who walk the mountain slopes to school each day
✏️ School supplies
📚 Essential library equipment and supplies

Our goal is ₱100,000 (approximately US$1,600), Inshallah.

No gift is too small.

We’ll share regular updates on our fundraising progress and the project’s implementation.

A journey of reinvention, purpose, and finding yourself beyond achievement. From growing up in a family where excellence was expected to building a career in biotechnology, research, and innovation, Riza Rasco reminds us that success is not only about what we achieve, but who we become along the way.

Her story is a powerful reminder to embrace change, question what truly matters, and create a life that feels aligned with your purpose. 💫
