#fbf 2025 @roundtopfilmfestival
It was an honor to help put the stunt panel together and moderate the Veteran Panel titled From Combat to Camera: Honoring Veteran Voices in Film. That veteran panel was the first time in history military veterans had a panel at a film festival. It included @officialgeoffreeves @vincent.rocco.vargas @jimwilkey35 @therealkevinkent @caitlinbassett and Jared Shaw from @terminallistpv Also, for the first time ever at a film festival, there was an award for a veteran in the film industry: the Brigands Veteran Award went to Jared Shaw!
There was also a stunt panel, which included a lot of legends like @vicarmstrongoffical @airaware1 @shanehabb @crystalhooks @tom_struthers @noelani_tsunami & @nateboyer37 The Mavericks Stunt Award presented by @variety went to Chris O’Hara and the Lifetime Achievement in Stunts Award went to Vic Armstrong!
Thx, Rob, @shannaschanen @skyschanen & the RTFF Crew! This new film festival is a pretty incredible event every November and they are just getting started!👊🏼♠️🍀🎬🌎

A sense of community that came from necessity. We have always sought out to highlight those who set the standard.
We started as friends with a shared passion for building a community - A community of people that is built to serve others and hold themselves to a higher standard than may be asked.
We see the Brigands Co. supporters out there walking the walk day in and day out. This is your company and you are its greatest ambassador.
Integrity driven. By Any Means Necessary. In the service of others.

A special thanks to @jillwagner.
For anyone who doesn’t know yet, she is currently playing the role of CIA operative Bobby on the Taylor Sheridan hit spy thriller series Lioness, and also shares the title of Executive Producer. If you haven’t enjoyed this exciting series, you should start with Season 1 (now in Season 3) available on Paramount+.

Jill, pictured here with my partner, @rick030295 (Rick Franco) on the left, and her husband, David Lemanowicz (former minor league ice hockey player and U.S. Army Reserve Officer) as she signs a bottle of our rare @fourbranchesbourbon Black Ops special edition (sorry - sold out). This bottle was later auctioned off at the @sofwarriorfnd (Special Operations Warrior Foundation) event and raised $5,850 for the foundation.

It is these types of collaborations and moments of patriotism with individuals like Jill and her husband lending their names and talent to special causes that help us all to continue to support our veterans and their families.

Thank you, Jill. 🎥🥃🇺🇸 by @rjcasey1

One of the things I love about writing and running @jackmactavishadventures is making new friends and supporting other veteran owned businesses. @fourbranchesbourbon is the bourbon of choice for Jack MacTavish books. This small company has done so much for the veteran community over the years and I am honored to feature their products in each of my novels. Thanks to my friends @rjcasey1 @rick030295 @harold.underdown and @michael_w_trott for their support of my writing. Sip to remember. ✖️These Things We Do✖️
• Whatever the job title is… we all know what that gear check feels like at the start of the shift.
“It could happen today, Fellas. Check your shit.”
• Hoodies and Champion sweaters may just be making their way back to the Brigands Co. shop soon 👀.

SHE WASN’T BUILT TO SIT IN A MUSEUM
Mach 3+. 85,000 feet.

The SR-71 Blackbird remains one of the most extraordinary machines America ever put into the sky.

For decades, she’s been silent.

What if we could make her fly again?

BELIEVE.

Because some legends deserve more than to be remembered.

They deserve to fly.

We had the extreme pleasure of attending and sponsoring the VIP reception at MIC, Military Influencers Conference. My co-founder @rjcasey1 and I were honored to participate. This is a fantastic event for the Military and Veteran community. Getting to run into friends like @chefirvine and @therealczcolonlopez is always special. Check out what the @robertirvinefoundation and @usaa are doing for our troops. We had were fortunate enough to let our community know that we Sip to Remember.

Robert Redford’s whole job in Three Days of the Condor is reading books.

He works for a CIA outpost in New York that does nothing but read novels, thrillers, histories, obscure texts, looking for plots and codes someone might actually try to use against the United States. Then one lunch break, he comes back to an office full of dead coworkers, and the rest of the movie happens.

Watched it again last night with my nephew. It’s one of my favorites. There’s so many layers.

What got me this time was Joubert, the man in the hat. For most of the film he’s pure malevolence, no warmth, no explanation, just a professional doing professional things. Then the ending arrives and he isn’t what you thought.

That’s the part I keep coming back to. The best Cold War characters were rarely simple, and I think about that a lot building Jake McAdams. The old case officers, the ones who’ve been in it long enough, never are either.

Tales from the Caribbean, out 11.10.26.

Who’s a movie villain that turned out to be more complex than you initially thought? 👇

Before I write the character, I have to see his world.

The old Mercedes on a European road. A beautiful woman behind dark glasses. A yacht waiting offshore. A newspaper folded beside a drink. And the quiet suspicion that no one is exactly who they claim to be.

These are some of the little things I think about when I’m creating characters, developing storylines, and visualizing the worlds they inhabit.

Vintage espionage. Cold War secrets. Caribbean adventure. Classic spy-thriller style.

TALES FROM THE CARIBBEAN
Drops November 10, 2026.
