Building beautiful spaces is its own kind of art.

The design is drawn months in advance, and the build requires craftsmanship every step of the way. When it comes time to capture the essence of the entire process in just a few photos, it takes a team of artists to finesse every last detail.

Layered lighting sets the tone and creates mood.
One of the strongest elements we can implement into our designs to set a serene mood is accent lighting.

Here we are highlighting how sconces elevate the spaces we create, adding different finishes, textures and materials. by @rjhcreative

Residential Design – Spaces That Enhance a Home

From architecture nestled into the landscape to finely crafted cabinetry and thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces.

In the latest issue of Behind the Lens, I'm sharing recent collaborations with Vetter Architects, The Cabinet Atelier, and Fringe Interior Design — exploring the materials, details, and creative decisions that bring these projects to life.

Also inside: an invitation to join me at Kohler Store Milwaukee on November 5 for an evening exploring the stories behind MIDWEST HOME.

There are some September days you wish you could bottle up. 🫶 A sun-filled lake house, a splash of color & an afternoon spent capturing Sharpes Drive in all its charm.

Elevated above the water & made for easy days at the lake, the architecture of this Elkhart Lake summer home makes the most of its unique site. 🌊

And getting to spend the day with other creatives who had a hand in bringing it all together made this custom home project all the more special. 🏡

September on the lake, through our lens. 🖤

Redmond is excited to share the completion of @henricksen.il’s new headquarters in Oak Brook!

Blending workplace and showroom functions, the furniture dealer’s new space features a design library, fireplace, flexible collaboration areas, and thoughtfully integrated product displays. Layered materials, inviting gathering spaces, and adaptable work settings create a dynamic environment that inspires creativity and brings Henricksen’s solutions to life throughout.

Thank you to our partners at @the_ljc, Kent Consulting Engineers, and @cushwake for their collaboration, and to our Redmond team members for their outstanding work bringing the space to life.
