Warm woods, soft neutrals, and layered textures were created throughout this Fox River home, while handcrafted details and timeless materials give each space lasting character. The result is a space that feels equally suited for everyday family life and meaningful moments spent gathering with others.

We were so honored to collaborate with @amycarmandesign on this breathtaking kitchen for the Designer Showhouse. Handling the intricate stonework throughout this home was a true labor of love, including a custom-crafted Macchia Vecchia Marble sink and a fully cladded marble hood that anchors the entire room.

Thank you, Amy, for trusting us with the intricate stone details throughout this unforgettable home!

A well-designed bar is all in the details. From thoughtfully selected finishes and custom cabinetry to the perfect place to display your favorite spirits, every element comes together to create a space that feels both functional and refined.

Cheers to the details that make a house feel like home! 🥂

Layered lighting sets the tone and creates mood.
One of the strongest elements we can implement into our designs to set a serene mood is accent lighting.

Here we are highlighting how sconces elevate the spaces we create, adding different finishes, textures and materials.

From a traditional, boxed-in entry to a space built entirely around curves.

We carried the arch through every layer of the design — starting with a barrel-vaulted ceiling at the front entry, echoed in the custom-made metal arched doors, and picked up again in the sculptural curves of the new light fixture. To soften it all, we limewashed the walls, adding subtle movement and texture that catches the light differently throughout the day. The result is an entryway that feels sculptural and serene all at once, setting the tone the moment you walk in. ✨

At the heart of Hinsdale Haven, dual islands create space for both gathering and everyday living, while warm wood tones, light cabinetry and an antiqued brass hood bring softness and dimension to the clean architectural lines.

Tucked beyond ribbed-glass arched doors, the scullery extends the kitchen with secondary appliances, generous storage and the kind of behind-the-scenes functionality that makes entertaining feel effortless.

Affectionately known as the “booze box,” this central bar pairs a signature square arch with warm wood paneling, concealed storage and glass display shelving—a small space with plenty of personality.

In the main-level office, custom O’Brien Harris cabinetry complements stone-clad walls and metal detailing, carrying the home’s balance of natural materials and modern refinement into the workspace.

Small in scale, bold in expression. Rich millwork, dramatic stone and architectural arches give this powder room a distinctly moody presence while connecting it to the design language found throughout the home. Gold Winner for Best Powder Room in the 2026 Kitchen & Bath Design Awards!

An exciting look at Hinsdale Haven—featured in the pages of Modern Luxury Interiors. We’re grateful to see this special collaboration celebrated in print and proud of the incredible team that brought it to life.
