It’s the first day of a long weekend here in NSW, Australia. I’m planning on relaxing, reading and spring cleaning.

What are your weekend plans?

Ok I’m still pushing for a comeback of #teasertuesday 😆

I’d like you to meet Stella, from my Stella Series. She was raised in a strict religious cult which still influences her life, even though she is now a smart ad educated interior designer. Her religious ties forbid her to fall for the sexy and intriguing Conrad ... but he proves too hard to resist. Now she has a choice to make – rebellion or convention – Conrad or her family. ❤️

I finished two books this week - The Bookbinder of Jericho by Pip Williams. I loved this book so much!

The other was the audio book, The Things We Never Say by Elizabeth Strout. I struggled through this and only persisted because of some loving encouragement from a couple of bookstagrammer friends. I ended up listening to it on 1.5 but I did finish it and I’m pleased I did. Artie Dam definitely gave me a few life lessons to ponder on.

Have you read either of these books? Thoughts?

Since finishing The Dictionary of Lost Words, I’ve started on the companion book, The Bookbinder of Jericho. It’s just as magical and beautiful as the first and I love how the two books overlap 🩷

Teaser Tuesday - Is that even still a thing? I was gone so long that I no longer know what’s ‘in’ or ‘out’. Anywho .. if it’s not, it’s about time it becomes a thing again!
Who’s with me?

Happy Friday!! What are your plans for the weekend?

I’m planning on getting some quality reading time in with my physical copy of The Dictionary of lost Words by Pip Williams. I spend so much time listening to my audio books while driving or doing house chores, that I neglect my poor paperbacks.

I’m about a third into it and the pace is just starting to pick up. Looking forward to where it will take me 🩷
