Had a great couple of days in Michigan for RDS Instructor. Another group of motivated LEO’s have what they need to teach the dot.

Thank you Rockwood PD for hosting and making sure we had everything we needed!

Great couple of days in Tennessee for RDS Instructor. The class was filled with motivated LEO’s and they needed to be just that. It was 100 degrees both days with matching humidity. Not one complaint, just got after it.

Huge thank you to Wilson County Sheriff’s Department for hosting and providing a great facility. Matt and Bryce looking forward to returning in 2027!

Great class in Valhalla! I look forward to this class every year. It is always filled with pipe hitters and awesome people.

Congratulations to Eric, he earned his second 3/4 patch! His bill drill was a 2.01. Heartbreaking for me as much as him. Thank you for hosting us every year.

It was also awesome having Ben of @onsightfirearmstraining in the class and getting to know him.

Look forward to returning next year!

Had a great time with Michigan State Police for their annual Instructor refresher.

3 days with a different group each day. Just like last month in Mount Pleasant, all highly motivated and ready to get after it.

Thank you for bringing us back!

The world lost a great man today. John Sherman was not only a great friend, he was the biggest mentor in my early development as a firearms instructor. The amount of wisdom that he shared with us all was immeasurable.

It was certainly much more than time spent on the range. Our families vacationed together and visited each other regularly.

When I would call, he would answer “What’s going on son?”

I’m am incredibly saddened my his loss but happy he is at peace.

Between his military service and law enforcement service he left an indelible mark on all that knew him.

I’m so thankful I did.

Love you Sherm, rest easy. by @rlyons1725
