One thing we’ve learned in our relationship is that therapy doesn’t have to mean something is wrong with us.

We love each other, but we also understand that loving each other doesn’t automatically heal the things we each carried into this relationship. We both have our own experiences, triggers, habits, and ways of thinking that were formed long before there was an “us.”

We don’t want to wait until we’re struggling to start doing the work. Therapy is simply saying, I want to understand myself better so I can show up better for the person I love.
