Creatine isn’t just for sprinters and bodybuilders. 🏃‍♂️ For distance runners, it can help improve explosive power, support strength gains, and replenish energy during high-intensity efforts like hill surges and finishing kicks.

While creatine won’t directly make you faster over long distances, it can help you become a stronger, more powerful athlete. Just keep in mind that added water weight may offset some of those benefits.

If you're comfortable at the door, you're overdressed. 🥶

Dress like it's 15-20 degrees warmer than it actually is. You'll warm up fast, and sweating through layers at mile 2 is how cold runs turn miserable.

Winter miles still count. Keep showing up. 🔥

Want to run faster without wrecking your legs? Add strides. ⚡

Finish a few easy runs each week with 4-6 x 20 seconds. Fast but relaxed, with full recovery between each one. It's the easiest way to build speed and sharpen your form.

Boston just got harder to get into. AGAIN. 👀

The 2027 cutoff is 5:17 under your BQ, up from 4:34 last year. For men 18-34 that means running 2:49:43, the first time it's dipped under 2:50. A record 25,630 qualifiers got in and thousands more were left out. 🔥

Swipe for the full breakdown, and don't plan to squeak in. Build a cushion under your BQ.

S-T-R-E-T-C-H PLEASE

Hamstring issues typically come from weak hips/glutes or overuse. If you're not stretching and strengthening around them, you're going to be hurting. If your hamstrings are tight, try these.

Two ways to test marathon fitness in peak week:

🏃‍♂️ The “2 By”: Warmup miles, 6mi @ MP ➡️ 2mi float ➡️ 6mi @ MP. Forces you to lock into race pace on tired legs.

📈 The Half-and-Half: First half easy, second half straight marathon pace. Mimics the final 10K grind.

Time to see where the fitness is at.
