Suddenly it’s September and I’m walking 8 months after being told I might never again. I don’t have the words to describe the grief and pain I’ve drug myself through to get to this point, all I can say is I’m so proud and thankful for my body and what it can accomplish. I miss Malcolm with each breath I take, his love and light will live through me forever. I know for a fact he would be my loudest and probably most aggravating cheerleader through everything. I couldn’t have done any of this without the outpouring of love and support. It constantly pushes me to fight even just one day at a time. Life is going to look and feel different but I’m too stubborn to give in so easily. Hug your people extra tight and always say I love you ❤️‍🩹 by @roara_
