We've been nominated for Business of the Year!

I've long felt that the staff, trainers and members have turned BLOC Bray into something very special.

It's more than your average gym.

@blocbray is a supportive, community-minded space with an eclectic mix of people all training for different goals.

So I'm chuffed to bits that all the hard work the team has put in is being recognised.

Everyone is carrying something 💚

Join us for Carry the Weight, a community walk in support of Cabhair.

This walk is about coming together, showing support, and thinking of the people we carry with us - friends, family, loved ones, or maybe even ourselves, wearing the carry the weight T shirt and the name of the loved one you’re carrying the weight for 💚

We’re carrying the weight together 💚

This November, we’re inviting our community to join us for something very special.

On Sunday 15th November, we’ll gather at Bray Seafront and walk Bray Head together as the sun rises - raising vital funds to help young people access fast, free mental health support through Cabhair.

Because sometimes the weight someone is carrying is heavier than we realise.

And nobody should have to carry it alone.

It's one year since Cabhair Bray was registered as a charity and in that time we've been able to put fast, free therapy services in place for over half of Bray's young people aged 12 to 25 should they need them.

Over €40,000 in therapy services delivered - without costing the State a single penny.

This shouldn't be necessary - this is the Government's job.

Unfortunately, despite the fact that they doubled spending on mental health, things are still somehow getting worse.

Why?

Because they're incompetent career politicians who are great at PR - and absolutely diabolical at delivery. by @rob.carry
