Everyone is carrying something 💚

Join us for Carry the Weight, a community walk in support of Cabhair.

This walk is about coming together, showing support, and thinking of the people we carry with us - friends, family, loved ones, or maybe even ourselves, wearing the carry the weight T shirt and the name of the loved one you’re carrying the weight for 💚

We’re carrying the weight together 💚

This November, we’re inviting our community to join us for something very special.

On Sunday 15th November, we’ll gather at Bray Seafront and walk Bray Head together as the sun rises - raising vital funds to help young people access fast, free mental health support through Cabhair.

Because sometimes the weight someone is carrying is heavier than we realise.

And nobody should have to carry it alone.

Mental health challenges don’t wait. And neither should the support.

Cabhair was created because too many young people in Bray were facing long waiting lists or financial barriers when they reached out for help.

We’re a community funded, 100% volunteer run charity that provides fast access to private therapy for young people who need it most. Every euro raised goes directly towards funding therapy sessions. No wages. No overheads. No waste.

In just our first year, together with our incredible supporters, we’ve funded €40,000 worth of private therapy for young people in our community.

But our work isn’t finished.

There are still young people waiting for support, and we need our community more than ever.

Whether you donate, organise a fundraiser, volunteer your time, partner with us, or simply share our message, you’re helping make sure another young person gets the support they deserve.

Together, we can remove the barriers to mental health support.

💚 If you’d like to support Cabhair, send us a DM or get in touch. Every contribution makes a difference.

One year ago, Cabhair was created with one simple mission: to ensure that no young person in our community would be left waiting for support because they couldn’t afford it.

Thanks to an incredible community of fundraisers, supporters, businesses, clubs, schools and volunteers, we have funded €40,000 worth of private therapy for young people in Bray in just 12 months.

Every hike. Every swim. Every match. Every class. Every challenge. Every euro raised has helped a young person access life-changing support when they needed it most.

But the need is still there.

Right now, more young people are struggling in silence, facing barriers to getting the help they deserve. Together, we can change that.

As a completely volunteer-run charity, Cabhair guarantees that every euro raised goes directly towards providing private therapy for young people.

Could you organise a fundraiser for Cabhair this year?

Whether it’s a coffee morning, a sponsored challenge, a sports event, or something completely your own, your effort could be the reason a young person gets the support they need.

Our first year showed what this community can achieve. Let’s make our second year even bigger.

If you want to know more about how you can support us, simply send us a DM 📩

Thank you for believing in our mission ❤️
