POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What a great couple of days in the mountains. The views, the air, the stars around a camp fire, and the rams kept us busy. 25 years of research put us onto sheep when it mattered, Early in the hunt.

The pack out leaves a lot to be desired no doubt. I still feel my sore knee today as I put this together.

We are truly blessed to be able to hunt and harvest these majestic animals. Thank you from all of us we will enjoy this meat over the fire this fall. I know we will have tall tales around the camp fire with some of you.

Marty Thomas has hunted sheep his whole life. Guided many hunters on their dream hunts. 128 successful Stone Sheep hunts to be exact. This was his turn to have some help from some friends. At 68 years young He went up and down and made it to the finish line. Not with a bunch of moans and groans that couple double as a soft porn at times I guess.

Lindasy, Robbie and Marty I had an absolute blast and really look forward to sharing a camp fire with you all again. Like fish stories I hope they grow with time. Many laughs and many more foot steps. by @robbie.clunes

Caribou. Mackenzie Mountains. Horseback.

I'm struggling for words that can express the true feelings of a trip that challenged us, inspired us, and rewarded us.

Gratitude is likely the closest word to related my feelings towards the place, guides, and outfitter for an incredible experience.

Dad and I were both fortunate to tag out on Caribou in spots we both hoped to get them. His down low, and mine up on the skyline.

@kaden.kwiatkowski was one of our guides and graciously offered to hop on a podcast soon to recap the entire hunt. Stay tuned for details 🤙🏻

Consistent effort over time leads to great results.

Inconsistent effort over time leads to mediocre results.

No effort over time leads to poor results (or none at all).

What outcome do you want? Does your effort and consistency align with it?

This was my first year hunting deer 🦌 — and up until now, I’d only hunted bear.

Deer are typically faster.

The shot window therefore shorter.

Little or no second chances. 🎯

So I trained harder pre-season and promised myself one thing:

I would only take the shot if everything felt 100% right. 💛

And when the moment finally came…
it was not what I was expecting.

It was a lovely week in Mexico ✈ spending time with family 💛 celebrating Momma Clunes' 70th birthday that took place this year 🥳

This was a little bit of a different style of trip for us, so it admittedly took a couple days to settle into the pace of the resort ☺️

It was awesome to still have a great gym setup 💪 and some cool cafe places to hang out at ☕🍵 so we could still keep some of our regular routine 😎

We're not the Mexico party people we used to be and even with that, the resort had lots of things for us to enjoy 🥰🥳

Even though we didn't get pictures of everything, probably because we were busy enjoying them, some of our highlights also included the ice cream shop 🍨 taco bar 🌮 and fully loaded buffet with tons of gluten free options 😌

Let's be serious, not having to cook or clean for the week was kick-a$$! 😆👌

100% completed. No skipped workouts. No missed pictures. Followed to a T!...as it needs to be. 🎯💯💥🔥

I'll do a recap video sharing my thoughts but this program should be completed by everyone. It's possible if you want it 💪🏻

Thank you @lindsayclunes for your help and support to get this done! 😘

Huge shout out to @drmattwarddc 🎉

In October I hyper extended my knee under weight on a hunt. I thought my hunting season was over 😵

Enter @drmattwarddc. He diagnosed my knee pain as a sprained ACL and prescribed a series of strengthening exercises understading my goal was to hike mountains for Mulies asap. 🏔

My knee started feeling better shortly and it didn't take too long before I was back in the hills doing what I love most. Without Matt's help its highly unlikely I would have filled my Mulie tag, so a big thank you @drmattwarddc! 👊🏻

PSA: Want to shoot a 4 point?

Try picking up some trash to buy yourself good karma. It worked for us this weekend. 😉
