During the filming of Neoproto I lived with 10 of my best friends in Truckee. Shared beds, couches, and even a pantry that was just big enough for a mattress was how we all afforded the rent. Before the pro contracts started producing paychecks all our cash mainly went to beer and snowmobile gas.

Remodeling this home was my biggest project yet.

After my mom passed in 2024, I poured all my time and energy into every detail to update this place. There was a lot of sweat and tears along the way, but it’s been very rewarding and I know she’d be proud of the result.

I received multiple offers on this home in only 2 weeks on the market, I accepted a bid 5% over asking price. taken in Santa Rosa, California by @robbiesell

The last few years have been some of the hardest I’ve ever faced... mentally, emotionally, everything. But the tide is finally turning. I’m starting to smell the roses. Joy is showing up. Opportunities are calling again!

This last week, @coreysmithsimulacrum, @jdarnealphoto73, and I backpacked deep into Tahoe’s Desolation Wilderness to again shred snowboarding’s mythical Fountain of Youth.

It was quiet, wild, and exactly what I needed.
