POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Over the next four weeks, I’ll share four of my biggest video parts after leaving the 🇳🇴 national team and three consecutive seasons on the World Tour circuit #throwbackthursday

First up (1/4): Neoproto’s “Some Kinda Life” — 2005. My first international film project, 21 years ago. 🙌🏻

It started with a few park laps at @mammothunbound . @klondovisuals spotted me riding and asked to film some tricks. That chance meeting led to an invitation to join @pierreminhondo and @gabe_lheureux’s US-based Neoproto crew for their second movie.

I bought a truck and a snowmobile in Reno and moved into the current @romesnowboards TM @grahamnotgram’s house in Tahoe. 🫶🏻

Nine months earlier, I’d torn my ACL at @theteambattle in @riksgransen.se, followed by surgery in late May 2004. Now I was learning to ride a snowmobile and stepping up from smaller backcountry features — with a brace on my right knee. A steep learning curve, but worth every minute.

This part shares a track by @baovomusic with @robbiesell and features a guest appearance from @jussitarvainen.

From watching snowboard movies as a kid to filming alongside riders I looked up to — this was a dream come true.

Thank you, snowboarding, and everyone who helped make it happen.

Rest in peace, Pierre. Thank you for helping me find my way. 🙏🏻❤️

First Spring Break Tshirt circa 2011 with the original SB mascot “Booze Buddy”. It’s hard to believe but this character was deemed too edgy for the snowboard industry and conservative ski/snowboard shops. The character would eventually evolve into “Mr. Slushy” with a snowboard body rather than a bottle. This is where it all started. If this shirt could talk! Should “Booze Buddy” come back or should we keep him in rehab?

Happy Birthday, @oz_man_, aka Alex Scott!

Insanely talented photographer, incredible chef, winning gambler, party animal, and stylish snowboarder. But above all that, he’s one of the most genuinely kind friends you could have.

Cheers, mate!
