Personal first descent of Fantastic pit, 586 feet. The deepest continuous cave pit in the lower 48. This has been a massive goal of mine ever since I started caving. Second photo is me on ascent in Incredible pit, 400 feet. Both pits are on opposite sides of the mountain and connected by a twisting 2 mile maze of crawls and exposed climbs full of beautiful formations. Huge thanks to @zmurr_2056 and mark for taking these amazing photos and zach for leading the way! Feeling fantastic and incredible:)

🕊️ In Loving Memory of the Subaru Outback "The Soob" "AGARTHAMOBILE" (it had multiple names)
2021 - 2026
After a long and distinguished life of 190,000 miles, my beloved 2018 Outback passed away following an unexpected encounter with a Ford Raptor.
She lived an epic life, and this marks the end of an amazing era.
she survived countless road trips, questionable adventures, rough roads, snowstorms, bad decisions, and everything else I could throw at her.
She was dependable until the very end, and loved carrying canoes, kayaks, and caving gear everywhere... sometimes all at the same time.
Unfortunately, the Ford Raptor was more dependable for ending things.
She leaves behind countless memories, a suspicious amount of sand and cave mud, and an owner who will never emotionally recover from watching the odometer stop at 190,000.
Declared totaled (by $1,700)
Rest easy, old friend.
Replaced, but not forgotten.

We had an amazing time exploring off the beaten path and doing some easy rock scrambling out on Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur, California yesterday!
