🚨PSA Announcement🚨: Allow me to reintroduce myself…my name is still Rob or however we have typically greeted one another (lol) however there has been a prefix of Doc, Docta, Dr., or Doctor that has been added before said name! I don’t ever ask for anything, and I am not asking now … HOWEVER (lol) if you feel so inclined to support, bless, or congratulate me…let the lawd use ya!

This has been a hella long journey (7.5 years), but one that has helped groom and grow me in many ways! It’s a testament to many life lessons of perseverance, adapting, time management, delayed gratification, being comfortably uncomfortable, and never giving up. Character, integrity, and discipline was tested at every turn however God was faithful in continuing to keep me grounded to carry on inspire of.

This was my first graduation ceremony I have formally attended. I was a first generation college student. I am the first in my immediate family to achieve such distinction. My family was there! My wife was there! My kids were there! My friends were there! There was nothing that was missing. I am truly grateful for this moment and memory in my life! Grateful for everyone I know who has encouraged me along this journey!

Rj and Parker started school today! I was so excited for them (and me😅). I prayed over their school year and cried like a fool. I know that they will do amazing! I’m soooo proud of them🥰

Their occupational goals have remained the same for the last 3 years. I really hope they indeed get to be a princess and football player! by @robcarlisle_

11 years…WOW…and I’m still in awe of what we’ve built together.

Through the good and the bad, the highs and the lows, one thing has never changed, we continue to choose each other! Not just when it’s easy, but especially when it’s not. And that’s what love really is…a daily decision.

There have been moments that tested us, stretched us, and refined us. But somehow, we always find our way back to center…back to us. Stronger. Wiser. More grounded in what truly matters.

They say people go around the world for love, searching for something they may never find…but I didn’t have to go far. I found what people spend a lifetime looking for right here.

And for that…I’m grateful. Every single day!

My Why.
Truth moment.
11 Years of Marriage is so important to me because that’s how long my parents stayed married before getting a divorce. Being best friends with someone that God hand selected just for me has been nothing short of amazing. We keep our marriage light and fun always. Sometimes we can’t avoid the stresses of certain situations but that’s life. We work to together as a team and we always figure it out. Thank you Lord for 11 years of marriage! Happy Anniversary to us! All we have to do is wake up tomorrow still married and it will be 11 years and 1 day🥰 by @robcarlisle_

Some people don’t believe in superheroes, but they haven’t met Rj and Parker’s dad. This man does it all!! Somehow he manages to make them breakfast everyday (real breakfast too), show up for school events, show up for sporting events, discipline and teach, give hugs, create memories, keep them safe, take them to school every day, pray with them, and provides a life that allows them to experience new adventures…all while working wild hours. My husband is a great dad! Thank you Lord for choosing him to be the father of my kids. Good choice 😉. Happy Father’s Day to my man!! by @robcarlisle_

So today was “Yes” day. The kids totally earned it with their perfect academics this year! We were gone for 7 total hours of fun. The pool, jump park, some other fun place, Target, Academy, Taco Bell, McDonald’s…each kid picked what they wanted to do and eat and buy. The funny thing is that both kids really wanted to try pop. They don’t get pop (soda) ever. Rj got a Cherry Pepsi and Dr. Pepper, Parker got Coke. Parker also wanted to wear heels today. Overall today was so fun and mama is tired. I’m about to rub my feet together and eat my Thai food. by @robcarlisle_
