🎤 Speaker Drop

Before you figure out where you’re going, get to know who you are. Dr. Rob Carlisle helps people do both.

As Associate Athletic Director of Student-Athlete Development at Auburn University, Dr. Carlisle helps student-athletes build leadership skills, prepare for their careers, and grow beyond their sport. His experience spans more than a decade in higher education and athletics, including roles at Appalachian State and Texas A&M.

His approach centers on a simple belief: identity drives performance, purpose fuels discipline, and positivity creates momentum.

At The McLendon Experience, he’ll help attendees explore who they are, recognize the power within them, and bring greater intention to what comes next.

Come ready to reflect, challenge yourself, and grow with Dr. Carlisle in Durham!

So much gratitude for these last few days!

Being selected to represent the University of Florida at the NCAA Career in Sports Forum was such an incredible honor, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity. Spending four days surrounded by some of the most driven and passionate student-athletes in the country was an experience I’ll never forget.

CSF challenged and inspired me, gave me a deeper look into careers in sports, and introduced me to amazing people I’ll be cheering on for years to come. I feel incredibly blessed to have been chosen for this opportunity and grateful for every lesson, conversation, and connection along the way.

More than anything, I’m leaving with a renewed sense of purpose, incredible friendships, and confidence in the path ahead. I am so grateful to the NCAA, the speakers, facilitators, and every person who made this opportunity so impactful. A week I’ll never forget and people I’ll never stop rooting for!

Team Purple forever!! 💜⛺️ #ncaalearnlead

Forever Grateful❤️🏕️

For the past 4 days, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to be apart of the 2026 NCAA Career in Sports Forum at the NCAA Headquarters in Indianapolis! Representing @athleticsau , @auravens_saac , @hcacdiii , and @ncaadiii the past few days has been such a surreal experience. Because of Camp CSF, I now have new lifelong memories, connections, and skills that I will take with me and cherish wherever I go

I was also blessed to be named the 2026 recipient of The Trailblazer Award! It went to a camper who fully embraced the experience, lead through curiosity, invested in others, and consistently sought out opportunities to learn and grow. To be recognized amongst such an incredible group of 200 future leaders in sport is something I’m truly honored by and will never forget.

I’m leaving Indy with a full notebook, a greater network, and an even greater appreciation for the people who have helped me get to this point.

Thank you to the NCAA, the facilitators, mentors, speakers, and fellow campers who made this experience so special. This award wouldn’t have been possible without you all accepting and welcoming me even as a rising junior! I cannot wait to see the amazing things this group accomplishes in the years ahead. Don’t be a stranger🤞🏾

And as always, shoutout Red Team❤️🙂

“Welcome to @shootcampbootcamp ! 🌟 We are dedicated to bridging the critical gap in Detroit youth learning opportunities for emerging technologies; breaking cycles of poverty & inequality with digital literacy.

In partnership with @thekonnection_ , we are in week four of a six-week camp with the incredible students of Durfee Middle School, teaching them the art of photography and drone piloting. Each week, they’re capturing powerful images and gaining a new perspective on the world around them.

At the heart of this camp, we start each session with prayer and a Bible verse 🙏🏿, grounding our tech skills in faith, confidence, and purpose. This is more than a camp—it’s an investment into our youths’ futures.

We’re only on week four, but the best is yet to come! Stay tuned to see the full story unfold as these students bring their Elevated Visions into focus. 📸🚁✨ #ElevatedVision #FocusOnYourFuture #ShootCampBootCamp #TheKonnection” @_theejvion
