A while ago we had the honor to bless the willow platform island 🌿 @landgoedottermeer for @alivenessfestival with a beautiful Singing Circle!

The whole set up was an experience in itself already. We arrived just before dinner, the sun shining bright but on its way down, people swimming in the lake, a few beautiful women covered in mud, and a group of people sunbathing…it seriously looked like the garden of eden.

The island is only accessible by a raft…so everyone arrived slowly. So magical.

Next year is your next chance to be there too 😘 Aliveness festival lasts a few days, and it’s truly magical ✨

We play music from cultures and religions all over the world. Music is a language of the heart, and we use it as a prayer for unity and peace. ♥️

Ismach Libenu is a Hebrew song written by Carmelle Miriam Levia. The text is from Psalm 33-21

Listen to the full version on our Youtube channel, to sing along! @PleuniApolloniaRobertTolenaars

We will sing this song in ceremony on July 11-13.

Bismillah 🕊️
A beautiful devotional Sufi prayer

It’s our firm belief that the power of music transcends the boundaries that sometimes divide us. 🦋

Every culture and tradition brings its own flavor. Every type of music moves through us in a very different way. The tones, the rhythms, speak directly to our nervous system, the subtle body and the heart.

In our upcoming summer edition of our Mantra & Medicine weekend retreat we work with music from the Middle Eastern regions. It has a strong pulse. These songs work with your life force and they encourage expansion. They open us up to the beauty of life 🔥

‘Voice of the Desert’:
11-13 July ♥️🌹

The Mahāmrtyuñjaya mantra is a very powerful mantra. We want to invite you to chant it with us these 108 times: Full 30 minute version on our youtube channel! 📿

🎶 Live recorded in one take!
With shruti box, and later added drone sounds ✨
The rhythm is steady and energising, to help you stay focussed and strong.

This ancient Vedic chant is known as the ‘death-defeating mantra’, calling on the healing, liberating, and awakening energy of Shiva.

The words are:
Oṁ tryambakaṁ yajāmahe
sugandhiṁ puṣṭi-vardhanam
urvārukam iva bandhanān
mṛtyor mukṣīya mā’mṛtāt

‘I Am Life’ – The first song I ever wrote! ♥️

I wrote this song for someone going through a difficult time. It is a reminder that life holds you, in both darkness and light. You don’t need to hide who you are, everything is welcome here. I hope this song helps you feel that you are supported and held by the fabric of life. That you are carried, and never alone.

This is the first song I ever wrote with English lyrics! I would love to know what you feel when listening to it! Let me know in the comments below ♥️ ✨Full version on youtube! ✨

🎧 Lyrics:

I am life, I am life
Show me your darkness and your light
Know that both are beautiful and right
No need to hide your soul anymore
I will carry you
I will carry you

A little glimpse of the ‘Om Namo Amitabhaya’ mantra played on shruti box and guitar. ✨

When you sing long enough, there is a moment when you feel you start to ‘dissolve’ and become part of something greater. Let us take you there, again and again. 🌿🎶

- On April 6th, we gather in a cozy yurt for our singing circle with cacao and a potluck dinner!
- on April 25-26-27 we come together for our Mantra & Medicine weekend retreat ‘The Path of Light’

Come and sing with us in ceremony!

Surrender.
That’s the key. And it’s the hardest things to do!

Stepping into ceremony is a leap. Into the unknown. Into the depths of your being.

I know it takes great courage.
To maybe have to face the things that you’ve spend years of your life avoiding. But how long have you silenced that voice inside, the one that whispers: there is more!

There comes a moment when the fear of staying where you are becomes greater than the fear of change. And when that moment arrives…

The only way is inward. ♥️
