I am life, I am life. Show me your darkness and your light. Know that both a beautiful and right. No need to hide, your soul, anymore. I will carry you. I will carry you. Song by Pleuni Apollonia & Robert Tolenaars

B(R)ANDSHOOT πŸ–€ Sometimes everything simply comes together. Like when @pleuni_apollonia and @robert.tolenaars asked me to take some photos for their musical projects. I had never done "band" photography before, but luckily they wanted no "band" photos. Just beautiful, atmospheric images. And the location they arranged felt like a gift from the Universe as well. As it happened to be, this old church was about to close down and through some acquaintances, we managed to get the key for the day πŸ˜‰. Playground set, lights on! Let me know what you think! And yes, I am available for your branding photos and will share some more soon! Branding fotograaf / brand photography / bandfotografie

This coming Sunday we are guiding our seasonal Singing Circle. For us Spring carries the energy of devotion and upward energy. Through devotion and giving yourself fully to the practice that mantra singing is, you start to open up to something greater than yourself. 🧑 Find the link on my website through my bio! - Photos by @puurvouw Joyce Huis πŸ₯°

A while ago we had the honor to bless the willow platform island 🌿 @landgoedottermeer for @alivenessfestival with a beautiful Singing Circle! The whole set up was an experience in itself already. We arrived just before dinner, the sun shining bright but on its way down, people swimming in the lake, a few beautiful women covered in mud, and a group of people sunbathing…it seriously looked like the garden of eden. The island is only accessible by a raft…so everyone arrived slowly. So magical. Next year is your next chance to be there too 😘 Aliveness festival lasts a few days, and it’s truly magical ✨ . Bismillah πŸ•ŠοΈ A beautiful devotional Sufi prayer It’s our firm belief that the power of music transcends the boundaries that sometimes divide us. πŸ¦‹ Every culture and tradition brings its own flavor. Every type of music moves through us in a very different way. The tones, the rhythms, speak directly to our nervous system, the subtle body and the heart. In our upcoming summer edition of our Mantra & Medicine weekend retreat we work with music from the Middle Eastern regions. It has a strong pulse. These songs work with your life force and they encourage expansion. They open us up to the beauty of life πŸ”₯ β€˜Voice of the Desert’: 11-13 July β™₯️🌹 Only 1 more private room available!
