Magik, oil on paper 5x7
ARTober day 15 all put to bed. Worked about 4 hours on this. Learned I need contrast between the background and blonde hair. Loved this one! #marvelart #marvel #magik #artober #oilpainting by @robertadauto.art

The Punisher, oil on paper 5x7
ARTober Day 14 and finally caught up. Spent roughly two hours on this, trying to get details down wasn’t easy. Tons more to go, but this was just a study. I have no doubt I’d paint him again. #punisher #marvel #marvelart #artober #oilpainting by @robertadauto.art

Wolverine, oils on paper 5x7
I’ve been experimenting with using just four colors; mars black, titanium white, cad red deep, and Portland cool gray. It’s challenging, simple, and I love how sharp they look. I have to paint better though, lol. Then maybe they’ll look better. Practice practice. #wolverine #marvel #marvelpainting #artober #oilpainting by @robertadauto.art

Black Widow, oils on paper 5x7
ARTober day 11. I’m behind a day. I’m retired and I have no idea how I’m so busy. Sorry I missed a few steps here, got in the zone. #marvel #blackwidow #oilpainting #artober by @robertadauto.art

The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, oil on paper 5x7
ArtOber Day 10, and I didn’t have a lot of time. Spent probably 40 mins tops on this, but there’s a lot I really like about it. Simple shapes and colors. #artober #oilpainting #daredevil #marvel by @robertadauto.art

Zombie Spider-Man, oils on paper 5x7
ARTober day 8, I figured we should get into some scary stuff since it’s that time of year. This was made with zero reference and it shows 😅 #oilpainting #spiderman #comicart #artober by @robertadauto.art

Night Elf, oils on paper 5x7
Painting small things every day is really fun. I get to experiment with different textures and backgrounds. Some look awful, but I do like this one. #oilpainting #worldofwarcraft #fantasyart #artober by @robertadauto.art

Michael Corleone, oils on paper 5x7. “You straightened my brother out?” I loved this line in the legendary movie! I had to capture the emotion of the scene. Still practicing! #oilpainting #oilsketch #artober #godfather by @robertadauto.art

Green Lantern, oils on paper 5x7
For day 5 of ARTober I picked Aaron Pierre of Lanterns. I don’t even collect Green Lantern, but this show was remarkable and Aaron did phenomenal. #oilpaint #lanterns🏮 #dc #aaronpierre #jamesgunn by @robertadauto.art

ARTober day 4. Still very fun even though I’ve only an hour to use paint. Still learning! #oilpaint #artober #daredevil #marvel #marvelpainting by @robertadauto.art
