We're seeking non-union submissions (NY/CT Local) for our fall retreat this coming September at the Bingham Camp. The Sound of an Anklet is a new musical in development by Shyama Iyer. A Tamil-American law student reconnects with her cultural heritage through the ancient epic Silappatikaram just as her struggling marriage is tested by ambition, immigration challenges, and an unexpected rival. As the boundaries between myth and reality blur, she must reclaim her voice, rediscover her passion for dance, and decide whether love is worth saving.Submissions can be made on Actors Access or Casting Networks, and any questions can be sent to robincaruscasting@gmail.com. by @robincarus

Seeking actors to play the oh-so-dysfunctional Bennett Family.A category 3 hurricane is heading toward Pelican Bay Bed and Breakfast, but the real storm is brewing inside. With a shelter-in-place order in effect people-pleasing Frank must navigate a father who's lost the will to live, a talk show host who doesn't want to be bothered, and his love-struck son determined to get Frank bank with his ex-wife. He has spent his life suppressing his wants and needs in service to the other generations. Will this time be any different? We closed Flo at @theater_for_the_new_city ! What a wild, surreal, beautiful ride. A fever dream of fantasies, devils, desire, temptation, and reinvention. Messy, magical, and completely its own.These are the rooms that change you. This piece asked everything: comedy, chaos, vulnerability, transformation. Thank you to this team for trusting me with the title role of Flo and for the absolutely wild ride that is her Faustian deal with the devil. I truly feel like I stepped into my own power in this process and I am so grateful to you all. Thank you @joankane9 @kanejoan @robincarus for seeing something in me, and for this wonderful cast for committing wholeheartedly to the work every night for two months x by @robincarus
