Back to run #LondonMarathon in 2027 for @rs_trust

A Double #MedalMonday 🏅🏅

I had a great weekend of running thanks to @niceworkrun.

🏅Friday night was the final Rye Summer Series 5k completed in 23:59.

🏅Sunday morning was the @bbb.10.k, my most local race (the course practically comes past my house), completed in 50:55.

And within it all I discovered @openpodiumhq, a fun way for us mere running mortals to finish on a podium! Hopefully other events organisers get involved.

All this is early training for @londonmarathon 2027 for @rs_trust 😁 by @robinplowman

Thank you to @rother_fitnessgroup for the Mini Mile at Bodium Hub today. Even though one refused to run and another wanted to be carried we battled through the heat to completed the mile. 🥵🥳

Just the first of many races in preparation for the @londonmarathon for @rs_trust 🏃🏻‍♂️🧡🖤

Let's do The Double! 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️

I'm back to run @londonmarathon in 2027, my first in-person one since 2019! With it being The Double, the historic two day #londonmarathon , I wanted to be part of it and what better way than by joining #teamrst .

I've been a supporter of the @rs_trust (RST) for many years. From helping their involvement in London Marathon and organising the RST Virtual Mile during Covid to running numerous sweepstakes on sports tournament/Eurovision and generally supporting where I can.

I always said I'd run London Marathon one day to support them so now is the time! And why not do it on the first ever Saturday race!!

I'll be flexing my #fundraising know-how (I have to lead by example!) with my tried and tested activities, but also exploring new opportunities like corporate sponsorship. Any help and connections are most welcome 😊.

#thankyou to Andy for indulging me and letting me join the team, I'm looking forward to it! 🥳
