Three years ago I was pretty depressed… I had a bit of money saved from a YouTube channel I ran tied up in the stock market. The daily fluctuations of the market was extremely stressful, along with not working full time. As men, we need to be useful in some capacity or else we become depressed. Having money in the market was not fulfilling that need for me, at all. It was also around this time three years ago that @paige_mcpartland came up with the idea of the bamboo wrap dress. We found a manufacture 7 months later and put every single dollar I had into dresses. ALL IN. That following summer 2022, we only sold about 10% of the inventory. Absolutely stunk. Got a job in late summer 2022. Moved to Miami in Jan 2023. Relaunched the brand, sold all of our black dresses, a huge win. I still had/have inventory of our blue and pink sku. I placed another order of black inventory again in late 2023, going all-in with almost every dollar I had. January 27th, 2024, the inventory landed and we relaunched @gelabeachofficial . It has been fucking incredible since. TikTok invited us to their headquarters two weeks ago, and here’s a picture of us today. I cannot believe this. Thank you God !!! by @roccobertino

Proud to say that @gelabeachofficial is launched! It’s been a long journey getting to this point. It started out by escaping frozen NJ in Jan 2021. Paige and I went to Miami and were denied service at a local restaurant because she only was wearing a bathing suit with a towel wrapped around her waist. That's when the idea 💡 sparked… “if we added loose straps to the ends of the towel, it would be a dress!" We started sketching and developed samples with a local seamstress. We selected a sustainable, ultra-soft bamboo fabric with a just a bit of stretch. 15 months later, @gelabeachofficial is here. by @roccobertino

I want to wish this electric, eccentric, Irish smokeshow the happiest 23rd birthday - I cannot be more thankful to have such a sweet girl yet badass by my side. Your charisma and energy is unmatched and the way you show and share passion is inspiring. So excited to launch our beach dress brand together (more to come 😉) Love you Paige Marie!! @paige_mcpartland taken in Positano by @roccobertino

Been a minute IG… Here to say that this pic may look like I shredded some gnarly Tonga Tsunami waves today, but tbh they weren’t too friendly 🤣 #hangten taken in V LAND North Shore by @roccobertino
