The only thing better than cooking with friends is eating with friends. ❤️🍷

What a wonderful evening celebrating good food, great wine, and the people who bring them together.

We gathered at Derrick's Steakhouse for their new 'Cooking with Friends' dinner series, featuring an incredible five-course menu prepared by Chef Ross Derrick and guest Chef Brent Durec of @kelownasgospelmission , each course paired with a Roche wine.

From Tradition Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Roussanne, to Artist Pinot Noir, and our flagship Château, it was a beautiful evening of thoughtful pairings, delicious food, and plenty of conversation around the table.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so special.

Join Hall of Fame Chef & Restaurateur Ross Derrick and his close culinary friend, Chef Brent Durec, for an intimate Harvest Dinner in the private Uppercut Room at Derrick’s Steakhouse.

Limited to just 32 guests, this special evening brings together thoughtful hospitality, an inspired harvest menu, and beautifully paired Okanagan wines from @RocheWines in Naramata.

Most importantly, every dinner gives back. Proceeds from the evening will benefit our local charity partner, @KelownasGospelMission, helping raise both funds and awareness for important local initiatives.

Dylan put his winemaking skills to a slightly different test yesterday at the 2026 Tailgate Party. 😂

Turns out making wine and rolling barrels are two very different skill sets.

A great day celebrating Naramata wine, our incredible community, and the people who make this place so much fun to call home.

Thanks to everyone who came out and to our fellow wineries for a little friendly competition. 🍷

Look who stopped by ❤️🍷

We had the pleasure of welcoming a couple of familiar faces to Roche this weekend, local Kelowna artist Sarah Rombold, who created the artwork for our 2024 Artist Pinot Noir Willamette Valley label, and Ross Derrick of @derrickssteakhouse

Wine has a wonderful way of bringing good people together, and we're always happy when those relationships make their way back to our winery.

Sarah, thank you for sharing your beautiful work with us. And Ross, thank you for continuing to make room for Roche on your wine list (and for serving up some of the best steak in Kelowna, if you ask us 😉).

Pénélope and Dylan are 'vignerons' in the truest sense of the word, trained in both viticulture and winemaking, with roots in Bordeaux and Burgundy and a belief that great wine begins in the vineyard.

Forget Emily in Paris... you've got to meet Penelope in Penticton!

Originally from Bordeaux, Penelope is a viticulturist, winemaker, storyteller and, alongside her husband Dylan, the owner of Roche Wines. Since opening the winery, she's had a hand in just about every part of it—from the vineyard and cellar to regularly pouring wines in the tasting room.

And if you've met Penelope, you know her love of wine is matched only by her love of sharing it. Family history, French traditions, vineyard stories, favourite recipes...she has a way of making wine feel less complicated and a lot more like an invitation to gather around the table.
