Black belt 🖤❤️

I have so many things I want to say and so many photos to post, but I need to gather my thoughts so that post will have to come later.

For now, I just want to say what an honor it was to be promoted today alongside my husband, my son, and so many of our dear friends.

Thank you to everyone who came out to show support. Thank you for all the kind messages. Thank you to all my wonderful training partners, students, and coaches. And a special thank you to Coach Joe for always believing in me and helping me believe in myself.

Love you guys.

Meet the Mothma’ams!

Cass. Rochelle. Mel. Werewolf. Brit. Harley. Jelyn (our emotional support team captain). Us ladies aren’t here to play—we’re here to choke, meme, and mildly confuse our opponents into submission. 🐾🌪️

We’re competing at the Grapple; 4 Life Invitational 2, and we need your help to skip round one and spend that extra time doing something important—like braiding each other's hair and plotting wrist locks. 👱‍♀️🔗 So make sure to mention "Team Mothma'ams" when you grab your tickets!

📍 Warren County Middle School
📅 Saturday, June 28, 2025
🕓 Doors at 4 PM | Matches at 5 PM
🎟️ Tickets: grapple4life.org or at the door
💺 VIP seating only available online (and it will almost certainly sell out)

The last Joan of D'arce was ✨️magical✨️.

✅️ Pit wall
✅️ Surrounded by friends
✅️ Battle axe prize and goodie box after getting my hand raised
✅️ Teammates all killed it in their matches

Honestly, what more could a girl ask for?

Can't wait to watch my friends and teammates compete at the next one 💖

Back in August, a group of our ladies traveled to East York, PA to compete at the most recent @joanofdarce tournament. We had a great showing, and every one of our competitors brought home at least one gold sash! 🙌

We are a month away from the next Joan of D'arce event, and we can't wait to bring another group of our ladies out to test themselves!

Joan of D'arce is an all-female competition that allows women and girls to compete in a low-cost, low-pressure, safe, supportive environment. There are already over 100 registrations, and we wouldn't be surprised to see that number top 200 before registration closes.

Make sure to catch the next event November 15th in Sykesville, MD!

William made his brown belt and IBJJF debut this past weekend at No Gi Pans. He placed 3rd in the adult brown belt super heavyweight division, defeating both a WNO competitor and the number 2 seed on his way to the podium.

I'm endlessly proud of the work this kid puts in and the talent he has. I knew this would be a good event for him to showcase his skills and challenge himself, but the fact that he made the podium at his very first IBJJF major? That's something special.

Love you, buddy. Congratulations on an awesome debut. Excited to see where you go from here. ❤️ by @rockysaurus
