Referrals mean everything to me… for real.

When someone trusts me enough to send a friend or family member my way, that’s bigger than any deal. It means the experience mattered.

I don’t take that lightly. Every person you send my way is going to get the same level of care, communication, and strategy.

So if you’ve worked with me before and know someone thinking about buying, selling, or relocating… send them my way šŸ¤

I’ve got them covered.

DM me and I’ll make sure they’re taken care of from start to finish.

Congo Free State Genocide
1885–1908

The mass atrocity known as the ā€œRubber Terrorā€ was carried out under Leopold II, who ruled the Democratic Republic of the Congo as his personal property after the Berlin Conference. Under a forced-labor system enforced by the Force Publique, Congolese villages were given rubber quotas and punished with hostage-taking, mutilation, mass killings, and the destruction of entire communities when they failed to meet them. Men were forced into the forests for long periods, causing famine, population collapse, and the breakdown of family life, while women and children were held captive to force production. This was not random brutality but a calculated economic system built for maximum profit.

The human cost was catastrophic, historians estimate the population declined by millions, commonly cited around 10 million people, through violence, starvation, disease, and exhaustion. Global outrage led activists like E. D. Morel and Roger Casement to form the Congo Reform Association, one of the first international human rights campaigns.

Impact: The Congo exposed the extreme violence behind colonial wealth, helped spark the modern human rights movement, and remains central to understanding both the trauma of colonialism and the resilience of the Congolese people. by @rodrayius

The Story Behind Juneteenth
June 19, 1866

A blend of ā€œJuneā€ and ā€œnineteenthā€ marks June 19, 1865, the day freedom was finally enforced in Galveston, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation declared enslaved people free. When Union General Gordon Granger arrived and issued General Order No. 3, it turned a promise on paper into real liberation for the last enslaved Black Americans in Confederate territory.

The first celebrations in 1866 were led by the newly freed gatherings filled with prayer, food, music, and the passing down of freedom stories. Even when segregation pushed them out of public spaces, Black communities bought land like Emancipation Park to protect the celebration, making Juneteenth a tradition of remembrance, education, and economic self-determination.

Juneteenth represents the gap between freedom declared and freedom delivered, a reminder that justice often comes late, but also a testament to Black resilience. Carried across the country during the Great Migration and recognized as a federal holiday in 2021, it stands today as both a celebration of liberation and a call to continue the unfinished work of freedom. by @rodrayius

Dorothy Counts
1942-Present

Dorothy Counts made history in 1957 as one of the first Black students to integrate Harding High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. At just 15 years old, she walked through violent mobs, racial slurs, and daily harassment with remarkable courage during the early days of school desegregation following Brown v. Board of Education. Though she was forced to transfer for her safety, her bravery became a defining image of the Civil Rights Movement and helped push forward the fight for educational equality in the South. by @rodrayius
