RV repairman, A/C trouble shooter, hydration police, conflict resolution specialist, and the guy asking, “Did you eat today?”

So many unforgettable memories, laughs, late nights, sunrise conversations, controlled chaos, and watching this wild little camp family grow bigger every year. Grateful for every hug, every inside joke, every “Dad, can you help me?” moment, and every memory made under the electric sky.

Camp EDC has given me friendships, stories, and moments I’ll carry forever.

Now time to recover… and start mentally preparing for the 2027 DOUBLE HEADER. Pray for Counselor Dad.

It’s wild to look back at where this journey started.

From my first bartending gig at Mad Decent Block Party, to my first runner gig for Life in Color, to having the opportunity to work alongside countless artists, celebrities, and some of the best people in the event industry—I’ve been blessed beyond words.

Two companies have played a huge part in teaching me everything I know about this event game: @relentlessbeats and @mediumrare .

Dreams really do come true when you’re willing to work hard, sacrifice, and spend every waking hour turning those dreams into reality. What once felt like a dream somehow became the life I get to live.

Never stop chasing what sets your soul on fire. Build a life around something you love, and somehow even the long days, sleepless nights, and absolute chaos become worth it.

Thank you, Relentless Beats and Medium Rare, for believing in me, teaching me, and allowing me to be part of this incredible ride.

Forever grateful. Still learning. Still grinding. Still chasing the dream.

Sometimes you have to stop and appreciate how far the journey has taken you.

From throwing an “Off The Grid” block party in Downtown Tempe, Arizona back in 2022 to my second year working Experts Only Fest on Randall’s Island for 60,000 people. What a full-circle moment.

Truly grateful that I get to call this my job. The collaboration between Relentless Beats, Medium Rare, and EMW made another unforgettable year possible and getting to work alongside my wife on the same site was the added bonus. ❤️

Grateful for the journey, the people, and every opportunity that brought me here.
Experts Only Fest Year 2 in the books.

As we approach the 25th anniversary of September 11th, I want to share how that day completely changed the trajectory of my life.

It started as a normal Tuesday in the Air Force. I was working a special assignment at the Utah Test and Training Range, eating breakfast in the chow hall and watching the morning news. The first tower was smoking. I remember thinking, “Who is dumb enough to crash into a building? How could you not see that?” Then, as I started to take a sip of my coffee, a plane hit the second tower—live on national television.
 Shock, fear, and sadness hit me all at once. I knew what we were watching. The commander ran into the chow hall and yelled, “We are under attack! Lock down the base and pull your service weapon from the armory.”
It was the first time in my career I had experienced a base lockdown. We went from THREATCON Normal to THREATCON Delta in minutes. F-16s were scrambling out of Hill Air Force Base. Commercial aircraft were being ordered to land.

Up to that point, I had never been that scared in the military. I looked at the uniform I was wearing and understood that my life was about to change.
Later that day, the commander sent us home to our loved ones, even though we were scheduled to stay at the range for the week. I didn’t have a family waiting for me. I had a two-hour drive in a government vehicle, alone with my thoughts.

Along the way, I stopped for fuel. On the other side of the pump was a burly man, about 6’5. He saw my uniform and walked over. I could tell he had been crying.
He extended his hand, looked me straight in the eye, and said, “You kill every last one of those motherfuckers for me.” Living in a predominantly Mormon state, I rarely heard people swear like that in public. His words stayed with me. I shook his hand and said, “I promise.”

Apparently “team bonding” means putting a bunch of festival people in the desert and hoping nobody starts building a stage.
