Proud to be your son ❤️

I think this day is going to hurt for the foreseeable future. Not a single day has passed where I don’t re-live every second of that last evening, in every vivid detail possible. So many what-if’s, so much guilt. Something that will hopefully sting less with time, as I have nothing but beautiful memories of my childhood 🕰️

I’m not one for soppy posts, but I think it’s important for people to remember that it’s not always sunshine and rainbows like IG might suggest 🌈

Happy fathers day pops - I will be thinking of you a little extra while I turn myself inside out in the mountains 🪽❤️‍🩹 by @rogansmart

Looking back on an insane weekend at Gravel World Champs 🌎 🇮🇹

Words cannot describe the chaos that occurred in that first hour, but so much fun was had navigating through the carnage of ~230 elite men fighting for position on narrow gravel roads, usually blind from all the dust 🔥

I unfortunately had to choose between hitting another rider or a wall on a descent about 60km in, and for some reason my brain chose the wall, at speed too 🧱
Broke my helmet and hurt my head a fair bit in the process, but managed to collect myself and finish 82nd behind some very fast boys from around the world 🙏🇿🇦

*special thanks to the one Finnish rider who stopped to ask me if I was still breathing, before carrying on 😂🫁*

The nature of the course and crazy passionate fans on the steepest climbs I have ever ridden are something you won't find in many places, and that day on the bike will definitely remembered for a very long time! 🙌⛰️

Massive thanks to everyone who made this trip possible and so memorable 🫶

Proper day out in Namibia @khomas100 for CAC African Gravel Champs! 🇳🇦

Hung on for dear life for as long as possible, before the major splits happened 🫁

Happy to finish 6th behind some world class gents 🤝

An awesome weekend away with some great humans - here’s to many more 🫶 taken in Gross Barmen Hot Springs | Namibia by @rogansmart

Fun day out @around_the_pot last weekend 🏁

Lacked the nuclear wattage required to make the front split of heavy hitters, but happy to finish 6th behind some fast boiz ⚡️

Thanks for the company for an otherwise lonely day out @keagan_bontekoning 😂🤝

Reminiscing about European summer 🌞

A few pics from June’s mission to rip another @tourtransalp 🗻

7 hard days on the bike, chasing small men up very long climbs 🙌

Lots of sun, great humans, and another awesome trip for the memory bank 🫶 taken in Riva del Garda by @rogansmart

Our lil’ posh boy jet-setter enjoying his ENVE MOG (Rog 😉).

Built with enough premium bits to make any bike nerd weak at the knees. Every detail dialled, every component matching, every excuse to stop and admire it fully justified.

Enjoy, Rog. 😘

(And if your water bottle doesn’t match your bike, get outa here.) 😆🖤

@unboundgravel 2026 - a day I would like to forget, but never will 💀

By far the worst conditions I’ve ridden in, and that Kansas mud is no joke 💩

Spent far too much time stationary scraping mud trying to get the bike rolling throughout the day. Derailleur died intermittently, so single speed at some interesting cadences was the theme of the day 😵‍💫

It was also my first time ever urinating on my drivetrain because I had run out of water to try clean it so that I could pedal 😂

I was fighting a head cold leading into Saturday, and despite fuelling really well - after about 240km my body just shut down and I limped to the finish solo 🫠

Huge thanks to the absolute legends that pit crewed at the feeds, I would not have made it to the end without you guys 🫶

Back home after @seaotterclassic 🇺🇸

Taken a few days to process the chaos of race day, and I seem to come to the same conclusion as quite a few others - not an accurate representation of my form or preparation for reasons I’m not entirely sure of 🧩

An incredible experience nonetheless, and an awesome setting to host a bike race 🤌

Onto the next one 🧘‍♂️

Eventful day out @heraldcycletour on Sunday! After a frustrating race at road nationals last weekend, it was nice to actually be in the mix 🙌

Rolled the dice a few times to try get away, mostly with @cronje_beukes 🤝,to try avoid getting drilled in a bunch sprint but no luck 🎲

Happy to finish P7 amongst some very strong lads in what did in fact end up being a bunch sprint 😂😤 taken in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape by @rogansmart
