1-1 with Jenny 💜

I recently spent the day at @linkyspetparlour bringing with me a soggy Stanley 🌧️ and his transformation speaks for itself 😍

Jenny is so generous with her knowledge and tools. I got to try @doglynessuk oats line as well as scissors, brushes and combs from @thecoatltd and Stanley had the comfort of a @pawmat_pets mat throughout 😊

Jenny has thought of everything when it comes to creating a comfortable and understanding learning environment 🥰 being the anxious person I am, I was worried how I would be in this new situation but from our first emails I knew we were similar souls 🥹

I could gush about how amazing and generous Jenny is all day! If you’re at @groomfestuk next weekend, make sure you go to The Coat stand and utilise the opportunity to acquire some Jenny knowledge 🥰

Thank you so much Jenny for an amazing experience! And the celebratory Kpop cuddles 🤣 💜

Enzo 🤍 Bolognese
This cheeky boy was so good for me doing his head! He’s usually very sensitive and constantly twitches and flinches, but today, with the power of “good boy” treats, he was much more tolerant 🥹 sometimes you have to find what works for each dog.

@chroniclesof_kai was in the best mood for his most recent groom! So many kisses and snuggles, plus best of all he actually posed for photos 🙀 so enjoy the all the poses and beauty of this very special boy 🥰 (btw that is how much his hair grows in less than 9 weeks!)

What a week!
Not only did I compete in doubles with my best friend @corbs.cuts_ but she also asked me to be her bridesmaid next year 🥹🤭

Everyone needs a Kerri 🥰 she’s loyal, passionate and the best cheerleader 📣 I wouldn’t have been able to do this comp if it wasn’t for her 🥹 I don’t think I can put into words what she means to me. But this post is a tribute to her 🫶🏻

Thank you @kcorbs_ for being the best and sharing this passion with me 🐶 ✂️ 🐩

Want to know what I REALLY think when a regular client goes elsewhere? 😏 Genuinely this ☝🏻
No judgement. No hard feelings.

I’m lucky - I love my job! It is a privilege to get to spend time with one of the most precious beings in peoples’ lives and to be given that trust. If, for whatever reason, you entrust them to someone else - that is your choice! I just always hope that everyone is happy and maybe we’ll see each other again some time 😊

I love a cheeky Shih-Tzu 💜
One breed, many looks and big personalities! (IYKYK)
They are stubborn and sensitive - if another groomer caught a nail 5 years ago, you can bet that Shih-Tzu is not going to let you anywhere near that foot without a fuss 🤣 one of the most common “do what you can” breeds I come across. But they have a piece of my heart 🫶🏻 probably because I love working with anxious dogs 🥰 it’s the most rewarding part of my job 💜

Almost all of these dogs are request clients due to other groomers struggling to finish the groom due to behaviour. I have worked with them over years to get them to be able to have grooms of this standard, and there will still be hair sticking out in places because if getting that last little hair is going to stunt the progress we’ve been making, it isn’t worth it!

Side note: sorry only boys are featured, 80% of my requests are male for some reason 🤷🏻‍♀️
