@novembreglobal visually interpreted my forthcoming novel Scene City for their latest issue!

It was fun stepping into a cinematic world inspired by the book, and as its author, to embody the character of the narrator-protagonist Romy for fictionalised film stills.

Surprisingly NOT my first time disassociating at @cafehelen in a sequinned Valentino ball gown.

In Scene City the narrator-protagonist Romy is on a fashion shoot when someone mockingly calls her “the cover girl of cultural criticism” so when @curamagazine reached out asking me to be theirs, I couldn’t say no!!! 🎨❤️

My short story “Artist Bio” which is written in the form of an artist bio is also included in this issue.

Five years ago, at 21 years old, I launched Shasha. Five years of blood sweat and tears. Of fighting my ass off. 100% independent ALWAYS. No funding No investment No bullshit. Freedom. Thank you everyone in the Shasha world. A service in service of our community.

A new play PRETENDER opening 28th April until 10th May 2025 at Playhouse East in London. Directed and written by myself.

Over a decade ago I had an idea for a feature film that never had a lead actor. I found her. Starring Róisín Tapponi, who has pushed herself to her limits for this extremely challenging role. The theatre version, opposite Peter Duncan.
