41 years around the sun ✔️ I’m so grateful I got to spend so much quality time w/ my friends & family this August. I love my life, I love my friends, I love my community, I love my city, & I love my work.

Our brains are constantly taking in and evaluating everything around us & beauty is no exception. Beauty isn’t just about being attractive. It’s this mix of biology, emotion, memory, perception, prediction, personal meaning, & awareness.

When we pay attention to a sunset, a painting, flowers, architecture, someone’s face, even a beautifully designed space, our brain has more interesting information to take in and process. Sometimes the more we experience beauty around us, the more opportunities we give our brains to experience curiosity, pleasure, connection, and that makes us more interesting! When you can encounter more interesting thoughts, you can have more beautiful experiences. I think that’s pretty cool. by @rojas_aesthetics

Don’t neglect your skin in the summer months! With more sun exposure there’s usually more dehydrated skin which leads to breakouts, a dull looking complexion, & more noticeable fine lines. Hydration matters more than most people think!

I’ve only been able to work 2x this month & I miss it so much!! Thank you to every client that’s been patient & understanding during this process. My full schedule should open back up in June.
